Food always lovley,any problems sorted straight away...Just need to say you Need to up date menu prices....especially drinks....heard a few comments on people saying they get charged different to menu, and don't know what they are paying for?

First time visiting Mumbai lounge. Food was great. Beautiful sizzler starter. One of the nicest chicken tikka s we have had. Staff very attentive and friendly. Matin the manager and the other staff could not do enough. All in all a good night and we...will be making it our regular curry house. Voir le carte

First visit since lockdown and if anything the food has got even better. In my opinion by far the best Indian food in Barnsley and rivals the better Indian food I've eaten in Goa, having visited India many times. The Mixed sizzler starter for...two was particularly good and my Chicken Jalfrezi (appna style), was superb. My wife had the Special Balti and said it was the best she'd had. The offer of is exceptional vfm Fri/Sat. The Cobra draught lager is also great and goes down a treat. Highly recommended to anyone wanting the best Indian food in the area. I’ll start by saying it’s cheaper than most places I’ve been, I had king prawn suka for starter and although small only prawns it tasted fine my wife had butterfly king prawn and she said it was dry and tasteless, for mains...I had lamb deshi masala and it was okay for the price, my wife had a dish with lamb tikka and she said it was very tough to eat. But here we are in and this establishment doesn’t have a card machine and insisted on cash only, I didn’t have any cash on me so I had to drive out to the nearest cash machine. Very unprofessional and average food in a competitive market.

Tried this place as a spur of the moment choice, we've heard many good things so decided to try it out. Keeping it simple this place is great. Lovely food, very friendly staff and a good pint of cobra. We had the course offer...for and it was fabulous. We tried something we've never had before and it was delicious. Having shared a starter for we had a main course each, shared a rice and a naan bread which happens to be the nicest naan I've had. We then topped off with some lovely refreshing ice cream and coffee. I would highly recommend Mumbai lounge. Staff are very helpful and personable. note is that its cash only so be sure to have some. If not there is a petrol station with free atm just... Voir le carte
