"Was nearby and saw that this place has lots of good reviews. As we arrived we could see that all the outside tables were full so decided to go for a walk first. On the way past I could see some of the food people had and it did look really nice. Walked for an hour and then came back and manager to get a table outside. Very nice woman gave us menus and warned us there was a ten minute wait on food (always nice to be told and we were more than happy relaxing in the sun outside) I got the Welsh rarebit with poached egg on top and it was really really good. Amazing flavour and so cheesy! Came with a nice side salad. We also got scones with cream and jam which were nice. Not the biggest scones we've ever seen but cooked nicely with a good crunchy outside and soft inside. My latte was good and my wife enjoyed her hot chocolate with marshmallows. Overall very nice food, great friendly service and we will definitely come back here again when walking in the area."

Had a lovely lunch at this cute local tea room. Great sandwiches, super yummy cakes. Very friendly team, and dog friendly (we sat in outside space).

Best Tea Shop in the Dales! We've been going to this one on holidays for nearly twenty years now. Always wonderful food and drinks. Well done Nick and Alison.

Lovely little shop with seats outside in a beautiful garden courtyard at the front on Muker’s Main Street . There is an art gallery a woollens shop and a pub in this village on the Pennine way.

Visited Sept 27 for a snack whilst exploring. Quaint, authentic Dales village. Absolutely delicious sausage sandwiches. Good coffee and friendly service too so no hesitation in recommending. Thank you R G 2022 Voir le carte

Called in twice in two days. Great staff and selection of meals and snacks. Best ever fruit cake with cheese! If it looks to be full with all outside seating taken- check inside as there are several tables indoors.

Before a nostalgic walk amongst the hay meadows we called in for a light lunch. I had the Yorkshire Welsh Rarebit (with added ham and a poached egg) ,my wife had the original version . We both had a pot of tea. A great quick lunch

Visited here on Sunday and sat outside in the sun. A great tea room, dog friendly, friendly service and plenty of choice. I had a really nice sausage and cheese sandwich that came with a relish and side salad. Called in at the village store... Voir le carte

THE beating Heart of the Village. Lovely looking and central in the villagr, this is a treasure trove of culinary delights. Charming exterior and atmospheric interior both matched by friendly helpful staff. Food that looked smelt delicious and great coffee...it proved to be the highlight of our visit to Muker.

Lovely traditional tea shop with excellent service and really friendly staff. The scones and jam were just the best we have had. Would highly recommend. Highlight of our trip to Miler, a most charming village. Purchased some of the jam from the village shop next door owned by the same people. Like stepping back in time and utterly charming. Thank you

"We arrived frazzled because we drove around the grounds in the dark not knowing where to go. The signage inside the grounds is no help at all. Allow time for this if you haven't been before. Fortunately we had because we wanted a pre dinner drink in the bar before we ate. Even when we did arrive we weren't sure if we had arrived at the back entrance because we stood for ages with no welcome or acknowledgement. A very disappointing start to our evening. When someone did come they didn't take our coats. We went through to the snug for a drink. They gave us menus and went away. Later came back for our order. We got our drinks and ordered our food. Then very quickly afterwards we were asked to go through to the restaurant. We had only had a couple of sips of our drinks and it was still prior to the time we had actually booked our table for (7.30pm). We felt rushed. The food came and was fabulous. I had the beetroot starter which had beautifully cooked beetroots and some pickles. It also had a grain through it. I couldn't remember what the grain was so asked a member of staff. She didn't know so went away to ask and came back saying it was probably buckwheat....probably! My main was pork belly with parsnip and an apple reduction. The pork could have been cooked a little longer. I think belly needs to be very well cooked until really soft. The top skin was impossible to cut through as it was not crisp, I couldn't eat it. A steak knife would have helped. Having said that it was still a good dish which could have been excellent. We had sides of mashed potato and greens with pickles both superb. The presentation of both dishes was innovative and inviting. Portion size was good too not tiny portions of fiddled with food which I much prefer. The service was not as polished as the food. There was no obvious manager and we had different servers which is never quite as good as one for the entire meal. The servers were scruffy not appropriate for such a lovely building. Overall it was OK but could have been superb with more attention to some details. Service: 2 Location: 3"
