"I had some time to spare, so I decided to give Mrs. Bs a try. When I arrived, the coffee shop was already quite busy. Despite not being very large, the shop was well laid out. The building used to be a department store and has now been divided into smaller shops that connect with each other. Our server was very friendly. I inquired about gluten-free sandwich options, but unfortunately, they only had a slice of carrot cake available. The cake was delicious and moist. My husband had a toasted tea cake and a latte, while I had tea. The bill was reasonable. There is a car park located at the back of the building. Overall, the place seems to be popular with others, but I would have preferred more gluten-free options, such as sandwiches."

A great place to pop in to enjoy homemade cakes, sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes and a lovely cup of tea or coffee. The service is always friendly and the food is always delicious! Generous portions and all served on an eclectic mix of teacups and...plates and teapots. Really light environment but with a homely feel. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan sandwich and pastry options available at this cafe, even though they are not usually on the menu. When my large group contacted ahead of time to book cream teas, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. As the only vegan in the group, I was spoiled with options like vegan sausage rolls, cakes, mousse cakes, rocky streets, jack fruit sandwiches, and cheese and salad sandwiches. I highly recommend contacting them in advance if you're vegan and looking for a welcoming place to eat. Frau Bs really made me a happy vegan!

I and my wife visited mrs today. b’s teeladen. we bought two baguettes and a tee. the tee was good, but I have to say that was moderate. the disappointing thing for us was that after we had eaten, we decided to try a disc coffee nutcake and was told that despite spending more than on the first transaction (the minimum amount to avoid an additional fee for using a card), we had to pay extra for the privilege to bring the children when the disc arrived, it was so small. I sometimes wonder about the common sense, especially because the small business is based on repeat know-how. of course we will not come back.

I do not think that vegan sandwich and pastry options are in the rule on the cafe menu, but if we contacted in advance to book cream teas for a large group mrs b’s went up and beyond to welcome us all. I was the only vegan in the group and I was spoiled! vegan sausage roll, cake, maus cake, rocky street, jack obst and sheese and salat sandwiches! my advice would be if they are vegan and they want to eat an amazing place and feel completely welcome in rushing then they give mrs b a ring and let them know in advance so that they get a few bits in and they will not be disappointed! Woman B’s they have made a very happy vegan!

My sister surprised me with an unexpected visit on Monday, so we were looking for a cozy spot to have lunch. Unfortunately, my favorite Italian restaurant in Rushden was closed that afternoon. We noticed Mrs. B's Sandwich Emporium and decided to have a light meal there. Aside from sandwiches, the only other option on the menu was a ploughman's lunch, which sounded appealing. However, when it arrived, we were disappointed by the small portions - a few pickles, a tiny serving of coleslaw, a slightly larger portion of salad, a piece of brie, a small baguette, and a square of butter. It was quite expensive for what we received and I don't plan on returning for a meal. The coffee, on the other ha...

If you want tea and cake, let's face it you can get it pretty much any supermarket or eaterie. If you want a generous piece of really delicious cake and a nice cup of tea as well as friendly and helpful customer service, well just...go to Mrs. B's! Sausage rolls are nice too if you want something savoury! Last time I went I had just been to hospital and was feeling a bit sorry for myself, but a visit to Mrs B's soon changed that. It doesn't take much to put on a smile and chat in a friendly way with your customers but it does make a real difference. Mrs. B's is great if you want to sit down for a light lunch with family/friends or just pop in for a quick cuppa while you're waiting for someon...

"a difficult review when the restaurant tried to provide the service that I am sure they wanted. a busy Saturday midday in December, all the tables were tightly packed, there were no ceiling ventilation or were all windows open to provide covid ventilation protection. the menu is large with a lot of choice. we went for a selection of starters to share under the family. most were very small dishes, the flower flowers bites consisted only small floccules. I think that this was too expensive for everyone. for the net I divided half a steak/ale cake and crispy chili bark. the bark in the torte was chewing and blande, the chips rode in a customs of their life, and the muddy peas were simply crushed, cultivated garden. the chili beef on the other side was sensational, fully spiced, steaming hot and loads of it, with rice and crack. the dishes could no longer differ in quality and taste. similar mixed results were reported from the rest of the table. I appreciate that covid has hit local food companies hard and they are still trying to get their pre-pandemic service. there were many guests who were fed and the kitchen struggled to supply consistency; our main dishes were delivered in intervals, so we did not eat together and it took to put the net on the table. as mentioned it was brushed, but a service fee was added to the bill. I think this is a bad service, even if one takes into account the difficulties of the covid. I hope that this feedback will be taken and traded so that we can see an improvement when we visit next."
