"Visited for dinner on 22 Dec and was underwhelmed by the experience. The menu and food were passable but not exceptional by any standards. The staff were courteous but lacked any empathetic skills, going through the motions like disinterested drones. Noise levels were obtrusive on this occasion but I put that down to a large group of diners with young children, who were not making any attempt to keep the children quiet. The lady who seated us did apologise and try to seat us at a quiet spot Disappointed. Very disappointed."

Gorgeous food , one of the best buffets I have had in a long time not cheap at £55 a head but I thought for what we ate it was well worth it. Will be returning !

Needs to have a quiet section for people without children, felt a bit like a school canteen at times. Service not very good, not what we would expect from.a 5 star hotel

Excellent quality food and good choice. On Sundays it is a buffet. A bit pricey as the range of choices is not that wide. Service is on and off. Some staff are excellent, other need more training .

It was a lovely date, and both the hotel and the staff were wonderful. We only had breakfast there, but it seems like the team was dealing with some issues. It took quite a while to sort out the bill, but overall, it was a beautiful experience, and I would definitely return.
