necessary and extraordinary we had a great meal here with wonderful service. very different and interesting and delicious.

amazing. amazing eating, amazing wein, amazing staff. we were blown away from the tasting menu and did not fight to lick the dishes clean. from breathtaking dresses like birne ente ravioli to unexpected joys like mushroom and vegan cheese salad (I will dream of this). Just go!

many clearly selected vegan options and the staff is very knowledgeable! the food was delicious and absolutely beautiful! the owner is raw vegan and very friendly! a wonderful place to go with carnivores and almost the entire menu is gluten-free! I would give 5 stars if I could!

a fabulous dinner for two in barcelona. my brother and I had both the tasting menu and we enjoyed every cure. the accompanying flight of the wee was chosen beautifully. our two favorite courses were the thunfischstarter and the duck ravioli. we would come back alone for these two courses.

the montiel restaurant is located in the charming barcelona, it is a establishment that offers typical traditional cuisine with partial touches of its chef. As for the quality of raw materials it can be mentioned that they are of very good quality, the presentation of dishes is acceptable and also offers abundant rations.

El restaurante Montiel se localiza en la encantadora Barcelona, se trata de un establecimiento que ofrece típica Cocina tradicional-renovada con toques particualres de su chef. En cuanto a la calidad de las materias primas se puede mencionar que son de muy buena calida, la presentacion de los platos es aceptable y además ofrece abundantes raciones.

Christmas Eve was a delight. Having just landed, we were a bit nervous about the combination of jet lag, a holiday night in a foreign city, and an unknown restaurant. Well, it was an extraordinary night though the tab for the set menu was 72 euros (without wine), the meal was magical and one we will long remember. The cannoli appetizer was especially scrumptious!

Beautiful fresh food, artfully presented and excellent service. The Snapper was catch of the day and very tasty, cooked with a light wine sauce. My wife had the Beef Cheeks which was so tender it almost fell apart at the touch of a knife. All the meals served to adjacent tables seemed to be just as eye catching as ours and very much enjoyed. The prices are mid-range but value for money given the quality of food, service and decor. The restaurant couldn't be better placed in the heart of El Born, the trendiest district. Enjoy a walk after the meal around the local cafes and bars. We are in Barcelona for a few more weeks so I'm sure we'll be back many times.

we came here on Christmas and enjoyed a delicious lunch. the owners and cook know a lot about veganism, what it means, etc., and all desserts are vegan! the starters were tapas style, and included a pumpkin soup, almond milk cheese salad, tofu kites and a mushroom and wine ravioli dish. for the net I choose an excellent pea and mushroom dish with beautiful, fragrant aromas and crumbles cooked. the desserts were inventive and artistically a spirulina emerald crumb, a chocolate brownie and petit four. I was overwhelmed by the ability to adapt vegan options and the amazing service. it is a Michelin star restaurant, so cheap it is certainly not, but as a tasty it was definitely worth it!
