"My wife and I arrived at this establishment yesterday in an attempt to watch the Champions Cup Final. The game did after all involve an Irish province and the pub claims to be Irish. I was conscious that the game coincided with a football match involving Aston Villa. Consequently I contacted the pub in advance to ensure that the rugby would be shown on at least one of the pub’s many screens. By way of response I was assured by a gentleman called Ryan that the rugby would be shown and that he looked forward to welcoming my group. Alas, when my wife and I arrived and asked which screen the game would be shown on, we were informed that it wouldn’t be. I did inform the manager that his colleague had assured me by email that the rugby would be screened for my group but to no avail. Anyway, this volte face resulted in my group of about 15 by this stage just arrived in Sutton Coldfield from various locations having to make alternative arrangements. The Gosta Green (thanks Kieran) promised to screen the game for us, resulting in us forking out in the region of £60 for four taxis to take us there. We also missed the start of the game. All of this is a result of Molloy’s failing to fulfil a promise made to us, or making a promise in the first place that they knew couldn’t be met. In any case, it’s a level of customer service that is simply unsatisfactory, and demonstrates a total disregard for the cost and serious inconvenience imposed on customers by failing to deliver on promises."

Great value for money breakfast, well cooked very tasty. Staff friendly helpful. Toilets need a clean but other than that very happy.

Popped in for a breakfast. The service was friendly and helpful. It was quiet as it was early, but the breakfast selection was pretty wide and the food was tasty.

I don't recommend the breakfasts..... cheap but not nice at all ...... and there was no chance to tell the staff as they are not around once they've brought the food!

I had a fantastic party at this restaurant on Easter Sunday afternoon. It was a wonderful surprise and I want to give a heartfelt thanks to the lovely manager Paul and his staff who made my special birthday perfect. Another wonderful afternoon in molloys. You can't fault the food, the prices and the wonderful staff. Deputy manager Ryan was as attentive and helpful as always, and the fantastic princess rina knows exactly how to pour my beer and looks after every customer brilliantly. You can't ever go wrong here!!!

I visited the restaurant yesterday and ordered Fish and Chips, Scampi and Chips, and two cups of coffee for just under £11, which wasn't too bad! We had to wait around 20-30 minutes for our meals to arrive. When the coffee finally came, the cups were only half full and the contents were cold. I complained about this and asked for two full cups of warm coffee. The meals were satisfactory, but I couldn't understand why it took so long to serve them since there were only a few people in the restaurant. I'm not sure if the pictures of Molly's being well-lit are accurate; every time I've been there, it's always been dark.
