"looking for a cheap, but also good accommodation near the Swiss border, we had early attention to the grooming. in the booking portal Booking.com were very nice pictures to see and the reviews of traveling were also very good. Unfortunately, the booking did not indicate whether this hotel is also involved in the action conus map of the black forest, where you can get a free map for the local transport of the black forest during the stay period. from this round I called directly to the hotel. here I was very kindly informed that gengs linde is not directly in stühlingen, but in the village mauchen, a few kilometers from stühlingen. that has the consequence that there is no action with the conus card. I was also told that the use of the öpnw there is not very good. so we were first choice alternatives to this hotel before we decided to stay overnight. which is not so good in transport, but ensures a quiet and relaxing overnight. on the village they can hear almost no cars or other “crackers” so that they can sleep very well in the rooms of the gengs linde. also contributes the good bed with very good mattresses. the room was quite large and very clean. also the bathroom is large enough and very clean. the room also has a large balcony. here we could have spent some nights, but our travel plans were different so that it stayed in one night. the rooms on the upper floor are reached over a large staircase, there are many storage options for cases and there are also enough ironing so that they can place their clothes right in the closet. the reception in the hotel was also very friendly in the late evening after 22 hours. a late arrival is not a problem here. there was almost nothing to get out at breakfast. is very good that here a lot is provided from the area and the plastic packaging is largely eliminated. it will be refilled in time. the small tastes very good. special wishes are fulfilled and often asked kindly whether they need something. the coffee is not only placed on the table, but also given to the cup. also our rethinking in the question of an early piece of ice was not a problem for the chefin. the provision of sausage and cheese we would consider an improvement. they are made available on a table that is open to readers. for this perishable ding it would be better if it were covered or in a cooling condition. next to the house there are many parking places so they don't have to look for long in the late evening, where they can park their car."

Maybe that was because we had always taken it home. when we had a table reserved there, this was a birthday, which was put into knowledge about the restaurant. it didn't even come like warm wishes, no prosecco or anything else you used to in a restaurant. a gast in the round had not ordered any appetizer like the rest, so the main dish was served to the appetizers of the others. when we pointed out that main dishes should always be served together, otherwise the people without appetizer sit there and wait until the others are finished, no apologies came. you have often not understood the personal, since the language was very unclear and was insulated. pity for money and birthday."
