Millets Farm - Menu

First visit since the re-fit, it looks fab! Food was really nice and I was very impressed with the children’s lunch, great value for money! A lovely little lunch with my family, thank you!

eating was overpriced and of very poor quality served by surly uninterested employees! with the farm shop next to selling what looked like quality products, they would be something that quality would be reflected in the restaurant, unfortunately not!

I was so glad to see gluten free pizza on the menu that it would take age to get out wrong it came within 5 minutes that I thought was strange. I saw that sign coming and thought how you saw the pizza? the pizza was heavily undercooked. the ham was lightly warm and the mushrooms were cold

we had a few weeks ago lunch in the farmhouse kitchen at the visit of millets farm falconry centre (see my other review for more.) it was a warm day and we sat outside on one of their picnic benches. there are plenty of seats both inside and inside. outside we ate sandwiches, crawls, fruit juice and later came back for tea and cake. the food was good and was ok price.

with a friend today ordered Scotch egg salad, sounded delicious unfortunately over boiled egg and rock hard,no taste so let in. the lady who made our hot drinks was very rude, did not recognize me for a few minutes...and did not say hi, she wore on stack cups then made drinks and pushed her to me and that went away. too expensive and not a good experience. we will go back

Family lunch out, with children 3 12. Fairly limited menu choice, but all found something we liked. Pizzas were fresh cooked (so have to wait about 15 minutes) and quite large, jacket potato meals were tasty, though not overly large. Service was good ..friendly and helpful. Good covid safety measures in place. Sat outside in the sinshine in one of their pods, which are a novelty, but also kept the wind off, though a bit echoey inside. Reasonable value for money.

We took an old friend out for rare lunch. How disappointing. The ploughman's was basic non true farm Fayre. The cheeses included were so cold had to wait for them to earn little before eating. Bread was overly light and soft. I had vegetarian quiche....Not a huge slice of warm freshly made but horrid little incredibly cold tasteless pie. Said I it was served with crispy salad. I had lettuce, Tom, cucumber and bit red onion on the side. The Panini was ok hot but again not tasty ingredients. Going to eat at farmhouse garden centre cafe we somehow expected, and certainly for the money true farmhouse reared and made items.

Sadly a very terrible experience at Millets Farm Restaurant. At the door we were told that the breakfast was no longer serving however the lunch was ok to order, which was fine to us. I had my 22 months old daugher and my husband with...me who were very hungry, I went to till to order our food and we were not allowed to order neither lunch or breakfast. I asked to order a sandiwch as my child was crying and hungry, the lady at the till said she could not order anything for us as they were busy and still serving breakfast.I sugeest only to order and wait in my table, she said I cant do that either to you. I mentioned that a member of staff at the door said MIlleest farm restaurant were servin...

We’ve been coming here for breakfasts at least twice a month for the last 3 years as a couple and occasionally when we’ve had friends family over to stay on a weekend (apart from a bit fo time when they were closed due to covid)...Coffees used to come with a cute little shortbread, this stopped quite some time ago and apparently is not coming back and the coffee is very good. Order and pay and walk around the other side of the island to collect. We choose the same thing each time for breakfast, my husband chooses the full farmhouse at £8.99 and I have the smaller country cottage at £5.99.
