Milano Restaurant - Carte

Took over an hour to receive our deliveryFries and mozzarella sticks were cold, not even slightly warm.

Well placed for a pre theatre meal in the West End. Enjoyed this with granddaughters especially being at a window table.

This place is doing its part in the fight against obesity, by making such bad pizza that you don't want to eat it anymore. Voir le carte

Generally accepted by the student population as 'the best pizza place ever' I have been doubtful. But it isSo goodStuffed crustGarlic dip.

Rather disappointed by the restaurant, which seemed to have got quite good reviews. Nothing special about the food or the ambiance. The ladies serving were nice and helpful, but it didn't really help the general feeling !

Booked for pre-theatre and they did a great menu just for this, very good value for money and the food was lovely. Unfortunately we were there early at 17:15 and there was only one chef and one waiter. A lot of people came in at once and the waiter seemed to be struggling, however cavalry did arrive and service improved. I would definitely eat here again. Voir le carte

London was busy and this restaurant was our 5th choice so we were sceptical. We need not have been. The service was good and the food was all freshly prepared. The quantities were also good. Our table was in the window but higher than street level which gave a good outlook on a busy road. The bill for four people including wine was under £100 which was very reasonable. Would go back.

The waitress who served us was not trained and she couldn 't explain what was a Soup of the day. Even after checking with the chef, she said Chicken and vegetable but she couldn 't tell if it 's clear soup or thick soup. I gave up to know exactly what it was. However the taste of the soup was nice! There was no toilet paper, No hand towel, hand dryer was out of order. There was a big hazard in front of the toilet which disturb disability 's access.

The restaurant was not open for our 7am breakfast reservation despite accepting our reservation via Open Table and having an opening time of 6am. We were traveling and needed to be assured a hot meal at an early hour, and Milano never contacted us to cancel the reservation or apologize for not being open when it was supposed to be. Its website also does not have an email address so you can only contact it via phone which doesn't work to alert management to a problem when the restaurant is closed. Very disappointing.
