Milan Indian Cuisine

One of the best meals out we've had in a very long time! Outstanding food, flavours and service. If we are in Birmingham again we will return.

Nice restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Food average, nice but nothing special. Balti was boring, as we are in Birmingham a proper pot and tastier sauce was expected .

The best Indian resturant in Birmingham. We always eat here on our visits to Birmingham. The service is very freindly and wlecoming (as in the name Milan). The food is first class and the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Voir le carte

Have been to Milan after a long time. This time we had Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Biryani? Peshawari Naans, Onion Bhajji, Paneer Chilli along with a few items. The lamb was tenderly cooked and delicious. The naans matched the flavor combination. We will definitely visit Milan again.

Looks high end, great deco and interesting menu. Yet the food was pretty tasteless. I'm no chef, but samosas made with filo pastry do not work. Bland, oil laden parcels with very little taste. As for the main course, two dishes made using condensed tomato soup...really!!! Most expensive bowl of tomato soup with a bit of spice chucked in i have ever had. The menu is adorned with images of spices, yet these didn't find it into our dishes. The dansak, well...no heat and very boring. Nan breads have been no where near a tandoori. Service and presentation top notch, but really overpriced and disapointingly unimaginative food.

I visited Milan Indian Cuisine with friends on Friday evening (14 July 2023), as we were staying nearby in the City, for the T20 Cricket Finals Day at Edgbaston. It was new to me, but somewhere my friends had visited before and had praise for and now I can see why! I have a nut allergy, and although my options on Indian menu’s are limited, I have to be extremely careful. I made the staff aware of this as we took to our table, and from the start they were hugely accommodating, helping me with what was nut free, they stayed with me until I had made my order.
