"After searching for the perfect venue to use as a Celebration of the Life of my wonderful Mum , we were fortunate to find The Boundary at Middleton Sports Club. This is now under new Management. Right from the start, Manager Emma listened to our requests. Nothing was too much trouble and she came up with excellent suggestions to further extend our wishes. We settled for Afternoon Teas, some GF (I am gluten allergic) and a table of Kiddie food for the younger family members, also gluten free as they are coeliac. As the Funeral date itself became nearer and I became more and more stressed, Emma was quick to reassure me that I didn 't need to worry about the Wake part as her team and herself had got this! . I was so relieved to have one thing less to worry about! On the morning of the funeral she met us bright and early so that we could set the room up. We all duly returned after the Funeral.... and what a sight met our eyes! The room looked so welcoming and the food....mouthwatering. It is an all-weather venue with a lovely patio outside; some of our guests enjoyed sitting in the sunshine . Ben ran the bar for us and Talia served tea and coffee. Quiet music added to the ambiance and a throughly enjoyable Celebration was enjoyed by all. The food was just amazing... very delicious, attractively served and so plentiful! My gluten free cakes and scones were light as a feather. This was a good surprise and one that I rarely have! My husband made a toast and we all raised a glass to Mum. She would have been so proud. We highly recommend this venue. Thank you so much Emma and Jules, you made a sad time more so much more bearable."

Had Sunday lunch with friends. Food was excellent a mix of meat veggie roasts. Well cooked presented. Staff very friendly helpful. Good food at reasonable price.

Now called Boundary restaurant. Good menu choice from full English to scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, all reasonably priced. A light an airy restaurant overlooking the delightful cricket pitch with a view from the picture windows which is a bonus on a breezy day.

Visited with my family after a two year absence and were happily surprised by the whole experience with the new caterer. Restaurant is now called The Boundary. Welcome was warm and the service friendly and attentive. We tried the prawn cocktail and goats cheese starters. We continued with duck, beef stroganoff and pulled pork burger. All dishes were well cooked and tasty. We will return.

This restaurant has been recently refurbished and has a new catering team. We visited on a Friday for lunch with friends and we all enjoyed our food. Everything is cooked to order and is well presented and tasty. Our fellow guests have also dined there in the evening and thought the home-made soup, in particular, was delicious. The service was friendly and unobtrusive, and the restaurant is definitely worth a return visit. Reservations are advisable, especially at the weekend when it can be busy. It is open to all so it isn't necessary to be a member of the sports club, but members do get a discount.
