beautiful Mexican restaurant with authentic eating. Mostly there is a court to pick up and the drink koma on the table to strengthen: . in summer they can sit outside. because there is a corner, there are many tables in the outside area.

We had a nice table on the terrace, people watching. The menu was extensive with good choices at reasonable prices. The service and house wine was also very good. We both had mexican style dishes and were very pleased with the great flavours and presentation.

Me and my girlfriend came here for dinner last night wanting to try some Mexican food and we were not disappointed, lovely restaurant inside with good Latin music and friendly staff. We went here after reading the good reviews and knowing we could get something veggie. I went for the Quesadillas con Espinacos which was very tasty with just the right amount of cheese bringing it all together. My wife went for a Burrito Vegetariano but...what was delivered was nachos with some form of meat in it which had to be returned. She enjoyed her dish when it arrived although it was a bit spicy for her with too many jalapenos. Nice authentic surroundings with helpful waiter.

because we love Mexican food, we have made the trek here (it is not in a tourist main area). the usual sintered assortment, the usual full-surface plates. we ordered to share some appetizers that were very good and delicious. but before we finished them, they came with the main course. what we sent back directly. why, if they list the starters and main courses on their menu, they do not stick to the concept to use them one after the other! but in order to give them their debt, they asked us when we would like to have the main course in clearing the appetizers and when they came, they were fresh and hot (so they did not stay in a corner of the kitchen when we originally sent them back). I don't understand the evaluation with a star. the occupation of the personal is really lukewarm and they do not have long waiting times. within a few minutes the order is recorded and only a few minutes later are the drinks on the table. As Americans living in Germany we really miss Mexican food. We had given up trying to find anything that comes close to resembling good Mexican food outside of the western US and Mexico. For some reason, though, we just had to try again in Berlin....After scouring many reviews we settled on Girasols for our Sunday Mexican fix. Chips and salsa were first. After four months in Europe I suddenly felt a craving for Mexican food. While I love Tex-Mex it is not an easy choice in Germany. Most restaurants in the country are simply a far cry from the original and that is unfortunately also true for...Girasol. Given the fairly good reviews on Tripadvisor I was hoping this was not so. Similar to water, there are no free chips and salsa in Mexican restaurants in Germany. One has to order those separately depening on sauces). Don't!
