"The setting is lovely, the bread is fresh and it’s very reasonably priced at €16 for three courses including wine or beer but the food is just poor in my humble opinion. Starter was three floppy pieces of white asparagus with shop bought mayonnaise and shop bought crostini on the side and a twist of orange ? The pork with creamy mushroom sauce consisted of two thin cheap overcooked pieces of grey meat that I struggled to cut. Fried frozen chips plus cabbage and tinned peas on the side. Hubby’s mushroom soup tasted shop bought and reheated. His pork Gordon Bleu sic was dry and looked a bit like a giant Findus crispy pancake. Just not nice regardless of price. Also, I’d recommend changing the music to something more authentic, perhaps some Spanish guitar rather than pop."

"First Restaurant that ticks all the boxes fully ! And deserves 5 stars Pleasant dinning experience! Lady Jaz was the live music and she was very good! She was just loud enough to be heard and quiet enough for guests to hear each other at the table, which is rare with live music now days!! Food was cooked to perfection, service was very good too ! Staff very friendly ! Had one of the most enjoyable Sunday lunches we have had in Spain since we moved here. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend ! There is also a good Vegetarian choice as one of our guests found!!"

"We had £25 menu which was absolutely delicious. Starters cajuan stuffed mushrooms with chilli sauce, mains had fish of the day, salmon on beetroot salad dressing with chips and brownie for desert. "Just came back from a lovely dinner at Drivers Bar in Villamartin. They have a veggie/vegan section to their menu which includes vegan spicy bean burger and vegan mayo, vegan burger (more meatier textured option) with vegan mayo, tomato and chickpea pie which comes with a lovely, big side dish of veggies, either mash or chips and veggie gravy and also vegan chilli con carne. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating and it’s got some great music playing and really friendly staff!! Food is inexpensive and service is quick! We opted for the vegan burger with mayo, chips and side salad and the chickpea and tomato pie with chips, veggies and veggie gravy. Lovely big portions and really tasty!! Will definitely visit again!! A great place to visit if you’re veggie or vegan in Villamartin or surrounding areas "
