"Cannot recommend the Merrymoor enough we have have a week in Mawgan Porth for 5 years running now and eat and drink in the Merrymoor every evening and some lunchtime drinks. The food is outstanding and very well priced the beer and cider is great, the staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. Nicks snacks and garden bar is brilliant he as do the rest of the staff work extremely hard to offer the great customer service that we have experienced every time we visit we will most certainly be back again next year. Thanks again for a memorable holiday."

Such a great location for lunch! We had an antipasti sharing board and a delicious prawn dish which was a starter but very satisfying. Friendly service and the organised outdoor seating means you feel relaxed and safe. Recommended

There was over an hour wait but with the government scheme “eat out to help out” running today this seems to be the norm wherever you go. Apart from the kids burger being a little plain for my daughters liking to be honest most kids like it plain and salad free but she don’t and found it a bit dry the rest of the meals were very tasty and plentiful. Very pleased we found this hidden gem or our drive :

I love this place! It feels more like my local pub than my local pub does. The staff are always welcoming and the service is great, even when they are crazy busy they are still helpful. I have been coming down here for over 25 years (from 300 miles up the country) which must mean something. The food is excellent and, even though they don’t have a vegan menu, they have been able to adapt a dish for me when I have asked and they seemed really happy to do so! Drop in if you are down their way.
