Absolutely beautiful traditional food. Had a few of the grilled meat dishes, the meat was lovely and clean. Sides were pickled carrots and turnips which were gorgeous. Would definitely recommend

I visited the restaurant for the second time. It’s nice stuff, the food is just fabulous! Vegetables with lamb it was cooked like by my mum missing her. Highly recommend! I would come again, definitely. Wishing prosperity for your business!

I recently visited Mazi for the first time since the pandemic started, and I am happy to say that it was just as wonderful as it has always been. The service was quick and friendly, and my combination kebab (chicken shish and lamb doner) was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming. I absolutely adore this restaurant; the quality of the food is top-notch, especially considering its unexpected location.

We popped in just to have a quick lunch but ended up heaving a proper meal and spending amazing time there. All staff members were very polite and attentive. The food was delicious and very generous portions too. The turkish tea at the end of meal made my day. It was filling with tranquility and peace. The quiet music and friendly staff all was adding to impression. Highly recommend this place for escaping from stress and high-speed of life. And getting great food too :

I ordered a takeaway mixed grill from Just Eat, which was served on a bed of rice and bulgur with Turkish bread on the side. At £35, I was expecting something more delicious and better prepared. Unfortunately, all of the meat and chicken were tough, dry, and lacked flavor, except for the Adana which had some taste. The standard box of chips was priced at £4.50, which I found to be overpriced. I believe this restaurant is best known for their range of Kurdish soups and stews that are freshly made daily and displayed on the counter.

The price for the food has increased and don't feel that mazi has excelled as it should. I personally find the place fairly OK but service could be improved. The portion of the food has stayed the same if not, smaller but the price has increased? Not sure if the owners actually read these reviews but hope that anyone considering buying food from this place to think twice! A lot of these places start off well and decline as years go by but for me it is not the place I would recommend in a hurry! There are other options that you could consider. Hope that Mazi will take on board these comment and do something about it!

My spouse and I stumbled upon this restaurant 20 years ago when we were newlyweds. Although the prices have increased since then, the quality remains excellent and the decor has greatly improved. We used to dine here every week for years because it was so good. The restaurant still maintains its high standards, but I have consumed so many Mazis that I now have to limit myself! They offer delicious daily dishes that are cost-effective, and you can share them if you want to eat for less. Another option is to order a mixed dish, which includes a bit of everything from the daily specials and is perfect for sharing. Having been stranded in Croydon by a Drone at Gatwick I ventured out for a walk and to look about some food. After walking for 2-3 miles looked through several windows (looking for inspiration) stopped at Hadi’s Barber shop for a fantastic hot shave I finally settled on and place called Mazi. The initial service was quite good and the girl serving me helped me make a choice on mains and starter taking my drink order and promptly delivering it to me table. The starter was nice and the main course of Spicy Lamb chops were beautiful the rice was fluffy with a good sized portion. This is a very classy joint, with ample 4 seater tables , you can choose to sit near sunlight or the private shadier section. The sit-down menu is extensive there is a kid menu though i would be tempted to just give the child the ethereal bread, sorry for my ignorance, the dough is coiled like a Cumberland sausage and it eats like egg and butter-free brioche, all pillowy fluf and no crumb.
