"Visited today after reading the reviews. We were not dissapointed. Sometimes we have problems with seating in cafes because we are a family of 5. Staff were lovely and arranged the tables so we could stay. The food was excellent. My sons cheeseburger, wow it was huge. She even gave our dog a sausage. Highly recomend this place not just for the food but for the outstanding customer service. It was our first time, but it wont be our last. 10/10, A"

Really friendly welcome from the owners and really good food. Really recommend the big breakfast, but it’s not for the faint hearted.

Just had a breakfast here. It was delicious. Bacon and sausage cooked to perfection for me. Hot coffee and prompt table service. Lovely. Highly recommended.

The breakfast and customer service at this restaurant were outstanding. The food was of excellent quality and a good deal for the price. The staff were very kind and welcoming.

Whilst staying the weekend in Matlock, decided to go out for brunch and discovered this cafe. Had the Full English and wasn't disappointed. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice coffee. Voir le carte

Called in today for the first time, but not the last, I had a full English, the wife had poached eggs on toast. And said it was one of the best she had ever had. Will definitely be calling again.

What a wonderful little find, the staff make the place too. The Far Rascals and scones were delicious and really lovely coffee, nice and smooth no bitterness. Exactly what was needed. A little gem of a cafe!

The restaurant has excellent service and food, both receiving 5-star ratings. All the food is fresh and not frozen. Some customers may be a bit picky, but overall it is a pleasant experience. The staff is cheerful and friendly. Voir le carte

The restaurant serves delicious, skillfully prepared food at a reasonable price. The service was welcoming and all of the specials are made in-house. We tried two of them and they were both flavorful and affordable, costing less than £10 each. We will definitely be coming back here again soon!

Saw some good reviews on here so visited today with the family. So glad we did! The gentleman looking after us couldn’t do enough for us. Lots of choice on the main menu plus a kids menu. We had 3 breakfasts 2 kids meals which included a drink ice cream…..they were more than happy. Very good value too! We’ll definitely be back next time we visit Matlock. Thank you
