Had meals meals in the past which were very good but on this occasion we had a limited choice as the Sunday roast meats had run out, we were served chips instead of roast potatoes, limited vegetables (one cauliflower cheese floret between four of us! . If they had advised us the Sunday roast was not fully available we could have chosen something else from the menu. Service was a bit slow. Lovely old fashioned pub with real ale and in a lovely setting across the road from a beautiful trickling river . Food was excellent and reasonably priced as was the beer . Well worth a visit .
