"I had lunch here in June 2019. The cafe is located on the ground floor of an imposing building where adult eductaion is provided. There are steps up to the main Georgian door which was closed. It looks like an office or someone's home so be bold and open it. There is level access by using the side entrance on Old Gloucester Street. You queue up at the counter and can see the food which is all clearly marked. There was at least one vegan main and I had beans, squash and couscous with a side salad. It was good value for money. It is sit-where-you-can. I didn't have any problem finding somewhere to sit although you will probably be sharing a table."

perfect vegetarian cafeteria for lunch. always at least 4 main options to choose with some bakery dinge on the side. consistent and tasty, and costs the same as high street lunchs but better!

very good vegetarian dishes to very cheap trips. amazing cake. also very friendly staff. I have eaten regularly here. it had to close recently because the building undergoes a great renovation. I hope they can open a new place soon.

Great little spot for vegetarian/vegan friendly food. You can have a proper cooked lunch for less than £7. Desserts are good too. I had the wild rice with sautéed vegetables and it was very filling. Cantine style eating with wooden tables makes it charming. It was quite busy even on a normal weekday lunchtime. Recommended.

as a junior doctor, I visited this vegetarian/vegane caffe every day for lunch. I only loved her salad, hot lunch and Polnta dishes. it was closed during the pandemic and although now opened on a reduced menu, I am still glad that we get a meal. Now that I don't work in this area, I can still never visit when I'm down here.
