"Beautiful restaurant, housed on the ground floor of the Grade II listed Marriott's Warehouse, a barn-like plan building dating from the 1580s. Overlooking the river, it has won an award for the best outdoor seating area in King's Lynn, easy to see why. It has so much character! The stone lower storey allowed the ships to dock inside to unload cargo in the past. So much history, and on the first floor there is an exhibition of the evolution of the town over the last 900 years. Don't miss it. The restaurant is very sympatheticaly done. The huge beams across supported in the middle by colums. The rough thick stone walls painted white perfectly complemented by the more polished plastered grey surfaces. Thick light stained wooden tables and colourful very comfortable leather chairs. Very accomplished. The food is very good. I had their homemade fishcake, delicious. My slow cooked venison casserole was superb, one of the best i've ever had. When i spoke to the chef, he told me it had been cooking for 8-9 hours. It was just so tender and delicious. The cheesake as a dessert was homemade, really good and a fitting end to a delicious meal. The mint choc ice cream wasn't great... Overall, a pretty good restaurant on the waterfront, with delicious food and great staff. Higly recommended"

Very good food and lovely service! The cocktail was really nice and the pub is in a perfect location next to the river.

Had an absolutely excellent lunch there yesterday. All cooked fresh, and beautifully seasoned. Simple chicken skewers and rice, but done perfectly ! Will be there again before we go home.

Nice setting, polite staff, very tasty food. A bit slow service for Sunday late lunch, even though we ordered from the day’s specials about 45 mins for the food to arrive), however the taste of the dishes was worth the wait.

A group of 5 shared tapas. Service was quick and friendly, which impressed me as there wasn't a table free. Outside seats are great to watch the world go by or sit inside to see the kitchen staff work their socks off. Only criticism is the tapas isn't a traditional Spanish style but it was all cooked well and tasty. Will go back for the seafood platter. Voir le carte

My partner and I visited for a late lunch on Sunday, and we had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the views of Marriott's were absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the King's Lynn area. We also noticed the roast dinners being served, and they looked incredible—so we will definitely be returning to try those! I strongly suggest making a reservation before you go, as the venue, although spacious, can get quite busy.

10/10. I'm usually very picky with eating out but I had breakfast here today and it was amazing. The coffee was great. One of the best eating experiences I've had in kings lynn. They was very accomadating to my dietary requirements i asked for a specific vegetarian breakfast and it was all cooked and presented perfectly. the location is fantastic with nice outdoor seating. Great atmosphere, everyone seemed to be having good time and enjoying the food. I will be back for sure and recommend everyone tries it out

What a beautiful venue and so much history behind it. The authentic feel of it’s history remained with beautiful decor and there was a hidden museum/gallery upstairs that gave an on-site of this beautiful town in Kings Lynn. The brunch was great and customisable too. The service was outstanding, the waiter kindly gave some advise on what to see and do in the town. The owners friend had a lot of stunning paintings around the restaurant which you could purchase. They were underpriced for the hand painted quality. Voir le carte

I dined here on Saturday evening and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and worked diligently to provide excellent service. The starters were well-received, and the main courses were delicious with generous portion sizes—my chicken burger was massive! I particularly enjoyed my seafood platter. However, my partner ordered the steak and was somewhat disappointed. Although it was cooked well, it was served in chunks rather than as a whole piece, and it was the smallest steak portion he had ever encountered when dining out, especially for nearly £26.

We had a truly delightful experience at Marriott's Warehouse. Since we don't get out often, this was a special treat, and it didn’t disappoint. I made a reservation over the phone for 7:30, and we arrived at 7 to enjoy a drink at the bar. Fortunately, our table was ready despite the restaurant being busy, so we were seated right away. I ordered a beautifully crafted Strawberry Daiquiri while my partner opted for a vodka and coke. We then browsed through an extensive yet manageable menu. The choices were fantastic, and we settled on a slow-cooked venison casserole and sausage with mash, along with some starters, including a special cranberry and brie parcel. Everything was phenomenal. The por...

"Me and my family decided to have a meal at the bank house as we saw on Instagram they had a Prix Fixe Menu and we are currently on holiday in Kings Lynn. We had a lovely meal at the bank house last year and when we saw the menu of 2 course for £16 and 3 courses for £20 advertised, we thought this was such a good deal! However, we arrived at the Bank House and when seated we’re only given the normal menu. I then asked the waitress if we could have the Prix Fixe Menu. The waitress then said we don’t do that and a lot of people have been asking about that. I then said to the waitress that it was posted on their instagram six days ago and then reposted two days ago. The waitress then said oh I don’t think it’s on today and I then mentioned how it said that it’s from Monday to Friday from 12pm to 6pm. The waitress then said she will go and ask the manger. They then came back and said that it shouldn’t have been posted yet due to issues with the chef and said they we won’t be offended if we leave. We decided to look at the menu but then left to eat somewhere else after feeling disappointed. I do feel that they should remove the posts advertising for the Prix Fixe Menu (on Instagram and I presume on Facebook too) as it could encourage people to book but then to found out it doesn’t actually exist and may be too embarrassed to leave. Also this is a bit unfair on people who may be on a budget who are looking for a nice meal as a family treat. Hopefully they can sort this issue out as it would’ve been lovely to try this menu, but it should be taken down as it is still posted on instagram."
