"We dined here our 1st night in Osnabrueck. We had reservations, and a table was waiting for us. Sorry it's taken so long to write this review. We were seated at a table near the open end of the bar. It was sort of dark inside, but it only added to the atmosphere. I had 2 .5l Steiger (dunkel beers. Other half had a glass of white wine(even though the receipt said Merlot? . We ordered, and they seemed to forget we had done so. Once we pointed out how long it had been, they realized that our orders were not put in! We did get our food about 10 minutes later. I had Jaeger Schnitzel w fries and salad. Other half Leberkaese w egg on top plus Red Cabbage Potatoes. Beer was very good, but food was average German bar food. The men's room was interesting with sayings on the wall! I probably wouldn't return here since we had just as good meal the next night at the Holiday Inn (where we were staying for a better price without the 1 km walk! I would have tried the Rampendahl Haus around the corner for lunch the next day, but they weren't open until evening. It had a higher rating so I wish we had gone there instead, but maybe next time! In summary, average German bar food w great German beer. The best thing was the bathroom!"
