Birthday treat for my wife, great food service with loads of brownie points from the boss

Wonderful attitude from personal. Just ordered steak and manager suggested what steak can be medium and which rare. Dario is very good.

The food was very well cooked, tasted amazing and presented nicely. They accomadated for my wife's dietary requirements brilliantly, (gluten and dairy free) without affecting quality of the food. My complements to the chef.

Nice place, great service, delicious food. I know steak is in the name but I wish there were more vegetarian options to choose from the main dishes. We had ordered steak file, pork escalopes, gnocchi and kids mac n cheese everything was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Great meal, very filling! I had the salmon starter (huge portion for a brilliant price! followed by The Colonel burger which came with hot chips and huge onion rings. The meal was delicious and so big that I didn’t finish it which is unusual for me (took it home all boxed up . Will definitely return. Special thanks to Dario and Chloe for their service.

A very poor reflection of Marco Pierre White's reputation, it was basically mediocre pub grub at fine dining prices. The waiting staff did a good job, although the wine waiter had never been taught how to pour sparkling wine. The fillet steaks were served, almost cold on stone cold plates and the roast lamb just wasn't. A great deal of improvement required.

On arrival was met with a lovely welcome after that it was down hill, waiting 25mins for 2 lemonades to arrive after having 3 waitresses/waiters ask if we'd been taken care of no communication between staff).Food was tasteless and order was wrong, sourdough bread was over done main orders was wrong, no taste to the food.My wife and I seem were always over looked/ forgotten about.Very unhappy with everything there, I'd describe it as an over priced harvester.

Imagine if you show up for a special occasion to be told that “no cocktails available because no one can make them, because the training that Marco Pierre offers is terrible”.Apparently there was also a major staff shortage and last minute hired help in. It was clear.Dave, the supposed “Managing Director” was in charge. Patronising, unapologetic, and clearly didn’t have himself together.Later, I asked for an espresso macchiato. The barman repeated “I told you we ain’t doing cocktails”. It’s a coffee with milk!!I was there for my brothers wedding. We arrived here for food and was greeted all most instantly by Louie who looked after us all evening. We were taken to our seats where we ordered our drinks. After receiving our drinks our starters came promptly. We had the calamari which was presented as beautiful as it tasted, the waiters made sure we had fresh water and our glasses were topped up, the way they looked after us was top service! For our mains we both had two different types of steaks which both came out as we asked and definitely is the best steak we had both tried and so filling.
