"Durante nuestra breve estancia en el Hotel Silken San Jorge en la localidad de Calonge tuvimos la oportunidad de degustar una excelentisima cena en su restaurante que era muy amplio, con muchísimas mesas y un ambiente relajado y bonito. Esa noche optamos por un menú ya que era bastante amplio y bien de precio. De primeros degustamos una ensalada de habitas baby con jamón y vinagreta de menta, unos espárragos a la brasa con salsa romesco y unos rigatoni con tomate concassé, parmesano y aceite de albahaca. Los tres platos estaban buenísimos ya que todos probamos un poco de cada uno. De segundos pedimos Meloso de Ternera con pure de patata con salsa de vino de L'empordá (Impresionante) , lubina a la plancha con remolacha en texturas y judías verdes salteadas (presentación genial) y Salmón sobre ensalada de espinacas, vinagreta de piñones y salsa de Vermut blanco. Por último de poste disfrutamos de unas texturas de chocolate que hicieron nuestras delicias. Despues de esta abundante y rica cena disfrutamos de un buen café mientras charlamos animadamente hasta que solo quedamos nosotros en el restaurante. Muy recomendable no solo para los que estén alojados en el hotel sino para cualquiera que quiera comer bien en un lugar a los pies de una playa tan bonita como Cap Roig"

During our short stay at the hotel sedaen san jorge in the city of calonge we had the opportunity to try a very large dinner at its restaurant that was very wide, with many tables and a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere that night we opted for a menu as it was quite wide and well priced. "We had a meal consisting of the set menu, consisting of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. It was all wonderful. The restaurant served us a small appetizer with olives. We ordered as appetizers fried calamari, and croquetas of chicken and of cheese. Spanish croquetas have a thin crunchy breaded coat over a pasty filling. Both types were savory, and the cheese croquetas were filled with a kind of blue cheese, which kept its distinctive flavor but was not overpowering. Two groups of two diners shared two of the signature dishes at the restaurant: seafood paella, and seafood fideua. Fideua is a dish prepared much like paella, except using inch-long pieces of broken fideos, a fine noodle commonly used is Spain for soups, instead of rice. Both were excellent. I had the chicken, also very good. For desserts, we had chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce which was not too sweet, just a little tart; sorbet de maracuya (passionfruit) which was also tart, but delicious in taste with a great consistency; mango ice cream, sweet and very creamy with a delicious flavor; requesón (a kind of creamy Spanish cheese) with layers of honey; and crema catalana, which is sort of like a Catalan version of flan with a surface of caramelized sugar, also delicious. All the desserts are house-made. The server was very polite, attentive and engaged, offering suggestions and demurrers as he felt necessary. The woman who served as the maitre d' was also very engaging, and described what were possibly her creations — the restaurant is small, and there were only the two of them in the dining room — lovingly, and made suggestions based on preference expressed. She may have been the owner; I didn't ask. I whole-heartedly recommend it for great food. It cost us €170 for 5 fixed-price dinners, a couple of glasses of wine, some soft drinks, a couple of bottles of water."
