"When we arrived at the restaurant, we were warmly greeted with a smile and given the option to choose our seats. Although the service started off a bit slow, it improved once we received our starters and continued to be good throughout the meal. The food quality was excellent (thank you, chef) and the wine selection was reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. Our meal ended with a pleasant surprise from the management – a scoop of delicious Cornish ice cream with a candle and a birthday sing-along, along with a shot of freshly made restaurant limoncello. It was a delightful lunch with overall excellent customer service, and we definitely plan to return in the near future."

Great little restaurant where all the staff want you to have a great meal with attentive service. We were lucky to have arrived on a live music night which was an added bonus. There seemed to be a lot of regulars which is also a good sign.

The portions are very big and the food is lovely , the starters we had were amazing. The waiters are very friendly , smiling ,and look after their guests well . The restaurant itself is really charming , they have a lovely little terrace area too.

We went for New Year having been twice before when both times were delicious. This time it was clear they had added tables downstairs that were more than they could cope with. The food was no where near as good as previous, it took ages, to the point we almost missed our party, and they charged us £200. A shame but a massive rip off and we will certainly not hurry back
