"I wish there was a sixth star to be placed on this restaurant. the restaurant is cozy six table tops (no more), beautifully decorated and the owner extremely friendly. the chef and the entire staff smile and feel like at home right away. let us. talk about the core values of this review: eating. freshly tasty and made every day. I had the chance to convince the owner that I had the kitchen checked. in a few minutes I was clear and good to enter and it was immaculate. I even went through the refrigerators and everything was tagged per day and production dates, schedules, etc. the full HACCP deal. I am delighted to eat in the middle of hamburg the authentic Arabic and North African cuisine that I love; made with true fresh and arome, from the hands of real people from this region and proud of the quality on European standards of hygiene and service. when you are in hamburg, make sure you go to this tiny and tasteful place. only one problem if.....forget that they are. they are naturally packed!"

good oriental eating, very friendly service, some self-contained waiter/inhaber who inspires Israeli beer. a small contribution to peace, inshallah! to the parking situation, you have to say nothing in the corner. So take a taxi.

for the 2nd time in the mansaaf, we have again eaten excellent. the manza appetizer variant is a real pleasure to taste, good products lovingly prepared and that combined with a beautiful selection of oriental flavors. happy again!

this very nice little invite in the eppendorfer away impresses with the friendliness of the owner as well as with the very delicious food. the mazza must be eaten. as main food are recommended the lambs and the house wine is great. the perfect mix for a successful evening.

we've been laying on a laune. we're glad we did this. great food, wonderful service and a beautiful evening. After traveling around the region (palesina) and being in many Eastern restaurants in the middle east, this is good, authentic cuisine. unpredictable, tasty and served with one. I like the way they can see in the kitchen.

we had to share with two couples at first 8 appetizers that all tasted great and were sufficient from the amount. Then we had lamb, rabbit, falafel and a chicken roll. everything tasted good, partly very interesting soßen (marzipan sauce to the rabbit). We drank the Lebanese red wine, which tasted so good that we took another bottle. overall highly recommended.

the restaurant is small but fine! no big hit and no local one ceremonies the night. Here you feed delicious Arabic dishes, amazed and enjoyed. we had a visit from the usa, and they wanted to try something that doesn't exist everywhere. from to masaaf - our friends did not come out of the swarm. we simply ordered various petty things and no matter what came, it looked great and tasted as well. From the outside the restaurant does not make much, but when you leave it a very good impression. in the summer there are also a few table in front of the door at the eppendorfer away. first line, call the restaurant and book a table, or they lead the crack, go or not get a table, at all that a clear sign, how good the restaurant is! the prices are moderately high, but not...absurd, it fits well to eppendorf and can be regarded as favorable for some of the miraculous locals here! the best is to start with mazza, a selection of start at the choice, the list is comprehensive. if not as hungry, they stay as many of them as possible, for portions are large: I had the mixed grill and had to dessert for another occasion! the refined Arabic flavor there are everywhere, in a mixture of intensity and raffinesses, they will not regret the choice in any wise!

as we love the Arabic cuisine, it was a need to go to the mansaaf. by phone a table for 8 people ordered and no problem. We were warmly welcomed here. a nice start. the wet is very sympathetic.Order abandoned, eating came a little bit interchanged, but good as long as it tastes.Next to the look of the plate:Hmm, big teller and large portions, unfortunately really everything on it! Salad, meat, rice, vegetables......Not very appetizing, unfortunately! You would have more to sit in a bite. too much movement, because also besides the house sale! and also catering!Open kitchen, from the principle not so bad but clearly too loud, because the snack clearly too small and also not cheap! For the same...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
