"I had first tried to order a table over the website of the restaurant, but had never received an answer. as I have learned now, it was a well-known one of me. eating is excellent. "At the edge of the interesting old town of Neckargemünd, directly at the bend of the Neckarufer. In a beautifully renovated semi-concrete house, many of which can be found in Neckargemünd. In beautiful weather the restaurant also offers a terrace in front of the actual restaurant, the guest room itself is rustic, lots of wood, the audience mixed flyers, locals, tourists a colorful wood. Everywhere on the walls and in the shelves old dolls also chic pieces like e.g. hat salon, old school house, meat shop, shoe shop... here is really funny to look around. The locals told us that the host couple has a variety of collective suffering and thus the place is re-decorated at least 4 times a year Christmas: snowmen, cribs, nicoes...; Easter: rabbits, Easter eggs....... B. puts your money in alcohol, where else there are 40%; better a man than no problem; we don't care about children... I've been busy reading and sniffing for a long time. The menu is suitable for rustic location rich, bourgeois cuisine without Gedöns large carving card, various frying, fish..... as well as a seasonal map of mushrooms, chestnuts, asparagus.... regional delicacies hand cheese with music, sours, roast sausage with bacon sauce.... also offered from time to time, vegan specialties. "Wir kamen in sehr guter Stimmung,da wir das Restaurant im Sommer bereits mit gutem Essen und sehr persönlicher Bewirtung erlebt hatten.Leider wurden wir gründlich eines Besseren belehrt,und es kam eine Katastrophe nach der anderen:Es begann mit der doppelt bestätigten Reservierung,die dann doch nicht auffindbar war in den Büchern ( mind.5 andere Gästegruppen hatten ähnliche Probleme,einen Tisch trotz Reservierung zu bekommen) schließlich dann doch noch einen Platz bekommen,ohne dicken Pullover und Wollstola wäre es wegen Kälte allerdings kaum möglich gewesen,die erhebliche Wartezeit auf das 4-Gängemenü zu überstehen.Dann der Gruß vom Haus mit einem eiskalten,aufgeweichten Bruschetta,anschließend nach gefühlter Ewigkeit 2x die falschen Vorspeisen,mit vor Stunden angemachten zT unmariniertem Eisbergsalat,auch die weiteren Gänge lieblos,mit fadem,altem,zum Teil wirklich ekligem Essen,zum krönenden Abschluss eine dunkle Masse,welche sich Mousse au chocalat nannte,aber mit ihrer gummiartigen gelatineartigen Konsistenz einfach abscheulich war .Dazu eine Liveband als traurigen,abgedroschenen Stimmungstöter und völlig überfordertes Personal,die an unserem wie an den umliegenden Tischen keinen Überblick mehr hatten über das bestellte Essen und ständig das verkehrte brachten,wenn überhaupt etwas kam.Insgesamt eine unvorstellbare hochpreisige Enttäuschung,wir können niemandem empfehlen,dort hinzugehen."
