beautiful owners, hardest working people. sell one of the best food round. if they are looking for tasty and spicy foods, don't look further! they will be happy and served here. best injera, lenses and spinach! traditional eritrean food best. love it!

I have the following: carrot-based filling type of samosa, tasty. half a teller vegan friendly to be eaten on brot. as with the hands, with the brot to not get them too dirty, haha . very nice! the restaurant is very well furnished and the owner friendly. all the dishes referred to as vegetarian are in fact vegan.

I love the mixed Veg plate served on the injera sourded brot. the various vegetable pots are delicious and fresh. the food comes on large plates (one for all the table) and they need to ask for fork and knife if they do not want to eat with their hand. this is a family business and the very friendly owner takes care of the service itself. highly recommended! We came across Makamba on accident. I love african food, so we gave it a chance and asked for vegan options. The utterly sweet service man told us right away their vegetarian menu is actually all-vegan because they don’t use milk or eggs anyway. WINNER! We chose the mixed veg plate for two and were IN HEAVEN! If you love food and spices well-balanced and perfectely cooked, go to Makamba and let them inspire your palate. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the styling in the restaurant. most dishes they order come with the typical Ethiopian injera brot. my was filled with delicious bark stew, really excellent. I especially enjoyed the greenish witness that was apparently a kind of...spinache. my wife got the same Injera bread, but filled with a vegetarian sauce. She didn't complain about it, so I guess it was good. for an Ethiopian restaurant is of course the kahawa typical etophical coffee that reminded me of Turkish mokka style coffee. overall great experience.

because the makamba looks quite inconspicuous and friendly-bourgeois from the outside, we would have carried it through a hair. However, if they enter the restaurant, they are immediately picked up by the Ethiopian environment, even if the mowing partly remembers the supposed former owner, who also fits the facade, we have ordered a vegan plate for two with injeras. the plate was equipped with various arrangements, of which I already knew some things and was new to me. it tasted everything excellent and because dr appetit was decorated with more, we ordered a part of samosas to Voir le carte

we were there for a family dinner. the positive first: the ambiente, the service, the hygiene are all very good. this is the place you would choose if you prefer a cozy dinner and have a good time with family friends. because it. is a popular restaurant, better to do pre-booking. they receive a lot of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian dishes. but unfortunately, the choice for two of us who are purer veg and cannot stand in garlic was quite limited. it is certainly not a debt of the restaurants. we simply capture this here so that you can choose this place for food as an informed diner! we enjoyed the starter samosa and a spicy pfanncake type do...

we booked a table for Saturday night for two. arrived there and the only table was free for after a few minutes we were able to move to another table, for we could immediately see that the service lasted long. as I had read, but finally we wanted to try it. so we had to wait about minutes until the only waiter comes and handed out the menus. he was quite stressed and rude when he even came to take the commands. the two dishes we wanted to order were not even available, and it is not as if he tried to explain why and perhaps recommend something good. he just said it wasn't available. our drinks were grateful in just a few minutes. we order some appetizers that came quite fast, but were very t...

I was really on an evening with friends in makamba, but it turns out that this place should really be avoided. my experience in makamba was quite unpleasant. for those who do not want to read the whole story: the service was unkind and extremely...slow and certain customers treated very differently than others. I do not recommend this place. I called the restaurant to make a reservation for people. when we arrived, the waiter obviously had forgotten, acted like he did not, and showed us a small table for after he finally managed to find a table, we had to wait for minutes until our orders are taken. it took another hour and minutes to serve the food.
