"I went to have breakfast today at this restaurant! The food was well presented, fresh, and there was a generous portion of it! The breakfast was amazing! The decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly. This is now my favorite breakfast spot in Consett and I will definitely recommend it to my friends!"

Lovely lunch 2day in the busy cafe&lovely waitress eventually got us 2seats. My fish finger sandwich was more of a whale than a fish finger!!loved it.

Enjoyed our brunch of eggs benidict and trio breakfast sandwich with lattes. Really tasty and worth every penny. Could resist buying 3 scones to take home for tea either.staff really friendly abd helpful. Cant wait to revisit

Never had a bad experience at Maddison’s. The food is delicious and great value for money, and the staff are always polite, helpful and charming! It’s such a great place to go and we’re very lucky to have it right on our doorstep!

I love going to Maddisons and it's my go to place when I go into town. There is always something new to explore on the menu and the cakes and scones are a dieters nightmare!! The staff are always pleasant and keen to advise on food choices. Can highly recommend them.
