Had a wonderful dinner on the terrace with beautifully cooked fish and a perfect white wine to go with it. The menu has interesting twists and unique flavours but they work really well (still thinking about that pandan flan I had for dessert! also felt very looked after by the host. Hands down the best quality price restaurant I have been to since moving to Paris I have been twice and both times it was excellent. The host has fabulous English and takes time to explain the menu and what wine he would suggest to accompany the dishes the table has been chosen. The food is excellent and well worth the price (which is only slightly more than a standard French brasserie). The highlight of the meal for me was the dessert: my choice of three cheeses from a plate of maybe eight options. The one at 12 o’clock was having its moment. The one at 4 added the perfect punch. And the chèvre at 7, 8, 9 added a more firm taste. The staff were incredible: energetic, knowledgeable, kind, friendly, even. The wine suggestions were spot on, as well as for the cheese. The main dish however was simply okay. No flavor grabbed me to say “omg” like when I was experiencing the cheese. The beans were not quite done. The greens were the best part. Perhaps the vegetarian dish would have been a better choice for my tastes. Regardless of what you choose, this restaurant will welcome you... Voir le carte
