"This is a lovely country pub. We went for Sunday lunch, and it did not disappoint. It was extremely busy but the service was good and the staff were very friendly. The fish and chips were enormous and piping hot. None of the items on the menu were expensive, but on the downside, the drinks were a bit pricey. Parking: The carpark is very small but there is limited parking in front of the pub. "While on my trip to Cambridge, I was on the hunt for some authentic Thai cuisine when I stumbled upon this gem of a Thai restaurant with fantastic reviews. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try, and I must say, it completely surpassed my expectations! The flavors of the dishes were incredibly authentic, and what really set this place apart was its extensive Thai menu, offering dishes you won't easily find elsewhere. The ambiance of the restaurant, designed like an antique Thai house with beautiful decorations, transported me straight to Thailand. It was a delightful experience to feel immersed in the culture while enjoying the delicious food. The service was exceptional too – the staff were so accommodating and willing to cater to our every need. My partner and I were thoroughly pleased with our dining experience here. We're already looking forward to returning for another meal, as it left such a lasting and positive impression on us. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or just looking for a unique and welcoming dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!"

"we really enjoyed our visit to fox and hounds on Sunday for a roast. the service and the staff were very friendly, efficient and fast. for beginners we ordered terrine and flat stare. terrine was tasteful with layers of duck, carrot and lynx. quince marmelade added the dish really good, terrine also came with a piece roasted sourdough brot. lachstar was slightly smoked and had caper and crumbled in him, it came with a casual quails egg and a sodabred. it was a great beginning of the meal. we had both fryed for our head, it was sensational. meat was so tender, thin cut and cooked for perfection, it simply melted in mouth. Cartoa were crispy outside and soft and fluffy inside, carcass was alive green and crispy, flower casssé boiled al dente and not mud. yorkshire pudding was massiw had a crispy and soft texture, just as she expected to be a perfect yorkshire pudding. pies du resistanse was my dessert, Custard tea with boozy russines and muskatnuss, the baked was really thin and custard perfectly set and silky smooth. we also had steamed pudding, it was just as delicious and came with real custard. thanks to everyone at fox and hounds for a fantastic meal, I really can't wait to return to januar."

"A fantastic little restaurant in Royston. Really friendly service with a team that seems intent on doing more than they need to. Food was also really well done, and the attentive staff made sure the main came out when I wanted it rather than some places that just fire it out when they are ready. Would definitely visit again.
