"This is a lovely pub with a DJ playing classic tunes tonight. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the clientele is friendly, with no issues from any patrons. The restrooms are clean, and the bar staff are welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed a few well-kept pints of London Pride, and they offer a variety of other ales, lagers, and spirits on tap. Additionally, there's a good selection of wines available. It has a cozy, local feel, which I really appreciate—it’s definitely my kind of place. The pub is also accessible, featuring a disabled toilet and entrance, as well as ample space for wheelchairs inside, complete with accessible tables. The men's restroom was tidy as well. There's an outdoor area for smoking or just sitting outside. Overall, a great spot!"

Went in for lunch with family on the 27th. We were served quickly and the food was delicious. The lady at the bar (Louise I think) was very attentive and lovely.

The outdoor seating is lovely, and I can’t wait for summer sunshine and cold beers. The five-item snack menu is fantastic and a must-try! The Sunday roast is pretty good too.

I have been to the Lord Nelson several times for different reasons each time I have been pleasantly surprised. Had a Sunday roast last minute thing. Was not bad. Been for quiet night very pleasant also been to enjoy a fun night. The Nelson delivers it all. Glad to have it as my local.

Visited today this lovely pub. Ate lunch with the family food great good portion sizes. Staff all friendly. Good value for money. The atmosphere in the pub was cosy with real fires. Lovely touches like flowers in the toilets and nice Christmas Xmas decorations. Well done I will be back soon.
