great value burger portions excellent atmosphere with quirky art in the walls well a visit worth very friendly staff and attention if they like the unusual, they will love this place

in london for work on Monday, stumbled on this Sunday in the late afternoon. Eat was lush, I had a wild boarburger. the choice of the beer was cracking, atmosphere also, cooled but also vivid. the staff was great, the manager even gave me a free shot and. I had only one brush and one meal alone. I would definitely come back and bring others.

We popped in here having been recommended it by a family member. Passed by it on Wednesday afternoon and spotted it and said we would pop in at some point. Visited for a quick drink this evening very busy mostly a young clientele several people...eating. Very quirky I could have spent ages reading the memorabilia all over the walls. Stayed over the road for night and messaged to see when we could order food due to going to a show so limited time. Simon replied back and spoke to the chef who said we could go at We reserved . The decor...is funky with such to look at . Friendly staff who made us welcome. Ordered food and used sons student discount which was good. The burgers were amazing, I had the aloha and wow. My son had Cartman with the chicken fillet and he recommends it. The chips with skin on were go tasty. Will come back next trip if we can.

My mates and I are doing a burger tour, to find the best burger on the South Coast (near Portsmouth where I live) I now need to drag them up here because the standard just went up. Not only was my burger exceptional, it almost...filled me up (that is so rare( Staff were fantastic, good humour and respectful of you eating (no bother until after I was done) Good convo and I felt like I was eating at a good friend's house Absolute class. We were staying at the Travelodge in Southwark and this place is right opposite. The outside appearance although quirky I found mildly intimidating, I think because I didn't know what to expect. I plucked up the courage to enter the centre of quirkiness and oh...what a joy. The decor is crazy but very interesting. They played really great and music and at the level where it was easy to have a conversation. They offered a limited menu (no burgers) because their staff numbers had been affected by COVID but what a refreshing change, a restaurant that would rather maintain quality of their food by offering a slightly limited menu. We stumbled across the quirky place whilst looking for Tate modern, without a doubt the best place I’ve eaten in London and trust me I’ve eaten there a lot Strangely we’ve stayed in the travelodge opposite but never thought it looked suitable for families...from the outside, how wrong I was ! I booked in advance for a meal for adults and children on a Sunday evening as it was convenient as we were staying in the Travelodge opposite. Arrived and the music was turned down slightly for the children which was very considerate. It’s...a great retro looking pub, has a great vibe and the children enjoyed the disco lit toilet! We ordered, the price was great value for central London. Drinks came quickly and the food about minutes later. In the meantime we were given a game to play to keep the children occupied.
