"Quite simply a great pub. It has become my local despite being ten minutes drive away. Good beer (Taylor's and very friendly staff. Well run by Sue and Julian who are very welcoming and look after their customers. Always plenty of banter with Nick and a lively atmosphere with the locals and staff. Food has always been good too whenever I have eaten here. Love it, it's the best pub in the area. Please get Hopical Storm in more often : Food: 5"

Food was really bad, went in for lunch, chips were overcooked and greasy, panini with a slice of bacon and brie. Very expensive for what it was. Was dog friendly and locals were friendly. Shame about the grub.

Heard very good comments. Welcome was 2nd to none. Atmosphere was marred with a continually screeching child. Partner was pleased with his meal. I not so, chose chicken and mushroom pie and I could find 2 small pieces of chicken. If we go again I will probably opt for pizza.
