"I went to Lokal around 6ish on a Thursday night without a reservation. The lady who worked there was nice enough to arrange me to one of the tables outside the restaurant. The staff there were extremely polite and attentive. I've seen some of the reviews saying that they will print an English menu on the spot for you. When I was there, they came with a German and English version, which is handy as I don't know German at all. As for the food, I asked the waitress if there's something I really have to try. She said she's not sure because they change their menu frequently based on the ingredients they have. So I ordered an entrecot steak and a green salad. They were both really fresh and delicious! All in all, it was a very nice dining experience! Thank you so much Lokal!"

literally the best meal we had in berlin all super fresh, modern German kitchen as family we ordered fish, pork bell, lamb and all the desserts and everything was great plus ate outside and both the weather and the service was.

Return visit to this small local restaurant. Really excellent dinner the wild boar starter was delicious. Very enjoyable evening slightly marred by one of the waitresses lacking the charm and good humour of her colleagues- but she did apologise to us.

Found this great restaurant on Eater 38 Berlin. Our family got the broccoli soup, lamb appetizer, pork chop, beef steak, pasta, side salad and gratin. Everything was absolutely amazing. Super high quality and great service. Would love to eat here again!!! Voir le carte

Lokal is a wonderful restaurant in the centre of Mitte. It is quite small and you need to book in advance. The food is delicious modern European and there's a great wine menu. The atmosphere is perfect: relaxed, nicely decorated with friendly and attentive staff (even when the place is packed). Highly recommend!

we visited my daughters who studied in berlin and joined some of her friends to eat. because we were a big group, we ordered the whole menu as a replaceable experience. wow! every cure was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared from local. swelling ingredients. the menu points were kreatiw and took us out of our box! they would highly recommend if they are in berlin.
