"Excellent food and choice of cakes. We stopped on the way up to the north east coast and were so glad we did. We were greeted and served by a really lovely, friendly waitress. I had a toasted sandwich, which came accompanied by crisp, fresh salad and delicious, homemade coleslaw. I finished my lunch with some tasty lemon cake. The buttercream wasn't too sweet and the cake lemony and light. We would definitely call in again when in the area."

We have breakfast here one gluten free the other standard. Food is always hot and get enough food and how you want it. The service is excellent and friendly.

We came upon this delightful cafe on a recent visit to Selby, and were more than pleasantly surprised by the great menu and very reasonable prices. Our meals were served by a very cheerful lady , piping hot and very tasty. Next time in Selby we will go there again.

The staff were really friendly and polite. The atmosphere of the place was so welcoming and friendly. The food that we ordered was so mouth watering and full of flavour. The food was priced just right and I would highly recommend this tea room to anyone in the area.

great service friendly staff/owners absolutely beautiful full English! not the cheapest in the city, £7.50 can sound a bit, but for the quality they get the little bit extra it is good worth it! happy to pay £1-2 more than other places just to get quality bacon sausage! makes a change to have decent sausages again, instead of the mudy paste as well!

An absolute delight to find this lovely tea room and our group of four had lunch there. A very friendly welcome, table cloths, great decor and excellent service. We all chose something different to eat, lasagne, meat pie, quiche, scrambled egg on toast, and each meal was delicious. It was a lovely atmosphere and warm inside on a cold day. Thank you for making our visit to Selby extra special.
