"Visited Karlsruhe during the heatwave last weekend, so was gagging for a beer! The local Hoepfner served here did not disappoint. We spotted this place down a side street and it ticked all the boxes, with a nice, large outside seating area and being full...of locals, which had to be a good sign. The beer was so good we decided to stay for food. Service was friendly and the staff spoke good English; the food arrived quickly, especially considering how busy they were. The portions were large and we can recommend the burger, chicken nuggets and wurstsalat. The children were welcome there and I would definitely seek it out if I'm in town again."

Good food, great choice and excellent service. Kids both enjoyed there food too, our waitress was really helpful and brought an English menu to look at and she provided excellent service throughout our meal.

very good place for lunch. the staff is very friendly, eating is very good terras is on a beautiful quiet place so that they can relax and have a drink and plan the rest of their tour. we can recommend litfass during visit to karlsruhe!

We have visited this restaurant in August. Already from the outside we knew it would be a nice experience, but when we got in, we were certain it would be extremely nice. Wooden furniture, wooden tables, long counter, excellent draft beers, typical german food, very...polite waiters, no noise. What else would you expect if you are looking for a german restaurant? Karlsruhe is not a touristic city, it is hard to find something to do for an entire day. But if by chance we come again, first stop will be at Litfass

I just walked around and killed before the evening in a carl rest and stumbled over this place. there was a small pub menu and a decent drink selection so I checked it out. not only does it offer a large selection of drinks, but eating here is fresh and not overpriced. I had their classic burgers with riddled and pilger and honestly, it hit the place. the burgers are sometimes quite boring in Europe, but that was comparable to a real diner in the usa. the staff was very friendly and fast. I would stop here in future.
