"we have visited this caffe several times for breakfast, lunch and evening drink and it has never failed to impress. the personal is friendly, helpful and attentive, nothing is too much to ask and they are always trying to recommend a good cake! the atmosphere on the day is always cozy and welcoming and the table service creates an intelligent ambiente. eating is excellent. we had everything from poached eggs with smoked salmon to sandwiches to nachos and nibbles. the sandwiches come with a healthy portion salate and cocks that make it a full meal and the breakfast menu is fantastic. the cakes are also to die and made fresh in the house. Evenings on the lightbox can never disappoint. her cocktail menu, with a very seductive 2-4-1 offer at selected times, medium is not to say no to have to offer especially with the huge selection of gin her. the music and entertainment on the evenings is always fantastic - there is nothing else like it in peterborough. overall this is a fantastic place, our favorite in peterborough and would recommend 100%!"

Lovely freshly made sandwiches with a little bit of side salad. Great alternative to all the prepacked rubbish available across Peterborough City centre in the chain coffee shops. Excellent service, family run, friendly. Very clean and well spaced out.

I went to the passport office and then decided to take a walk to Peterborough town square for a drink. I stopped at The Lite Box and had tea, which was served in a large pot, so I ended up having 2.5 cups! I also enjoyed a slice of homemade carrot cake that was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Well done!

Amazing little place for lunch! They were so accommodating and happy to be very flexibility with the food. We had the 'little tea ' which was very reasonable and tasty to boot! All the food was homemade and very delicious. In particular the homemade shortbread cookies that come complimentary with a hot drink! They looked and tasted flawless! Wonderful baker and fantastic hospitality. Will definitely revisit when in the area.

My favorite brunch spot by far! This place is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or just a quick bite to eat. You absolutely have to try the fresh avocado with fried eggs on thick, hearty bread—it's incredible! The tea is also excellent. It has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service is fantastic; both the kitchen and wait staff go above and beyond to ensure everything is just right. It’s definitely a must-visit! @Lightbox
