Leo's Kitchen - Menu

I've been seeing lots of good things about this place via social media so decided to give it a try recently. I can't say we were disappointed.

Mmmm RAW uncooked meet just what every growing person needs. 3 items from the order weee missing, they don’t answer the phone and I would not feed this burgers to my cats

Great burgers but service is a little slow and we had a minor issue with language and the waiter’s interpretation of our order with a “single ultimate burger” arriving as a “simple burger”, which isn’t a menu option. Not a big deal but took the shine off the meal. Didn’t have bottles of sparkling mineral water. They offered my son a complimentary ice cream for his birthday, which was a nice touch.

Some of the dishes I had were very good, others were mediocre/not to my taste buds. However, the true failing of the dinner was the service, they seemed understaffed and it was incredibly slow. In total it took 1h35mins to get served starter and dinner! If they upped their staffing/service game I would go again as some of the dishes were great and i'd like to try again, but there are better options available in Beckenham.

Visited here for an evening meal and had a pleasant experience. Have been here before and always found the food to be well prepared and in good portion sizes. Service was polite and prompt. Food took a while to arrive despite the venue not being too busy but expect this was due to takeaway service also being a popular choice. Food was well cooked, hot and tasty. Opted for the falafel burger and thick chips which was very nice and filling! Good, relaxed atmosphere. Would return again.

Well prepared for social distancing and very pleasant surroundings. Service was generally good and the food was fine. However when paying nearly £20 for a steak I would have expected it to come with something else on the plate and not have to pay extra (and pay a lot extra) for fries, mushrooms etc. I come from the South of UK and we have many fine restaurants down here and serving steaks in the same price range but you would get fries/ chips a mushroom , grilled tomato and often a salad in the price. Drinks were also a bit pricey. Having said that we had had great birthday celebration as a family

Lovely food, varied menu, polite staff, parking down side roads and paid car park behind cinema but we went on Valentine’s Day and staffing was stretched meaning we didn’t get asked if we’d like more drinks or a dessert. In their defence, we were offered free drinks for the long wait. Main course was lovely but personally I really don’t like it when part of a meal which should come with your dinner is only served up as extras. It makes it an expensive meal. E.g. Steak is served by itself, no chips/potatoes, no veg, they are all extras costing a further £8 minimum. Burger choice is better value as they do come with chips and coleslaw.

Visited recently on a Monday when the eat out scheme was running. The four of our group ordered different starter and mains. Everyone really enjoyed the food. I particularly loved the prawn starter. Absolutely delicious. The cocktails were nice. We did have to waited quite a while for our mains but it was very busy, so we were not to bothered by this. Staff were pleasant. The music playing in the background was quite loud and we did have to speak loudly to each other. There was hand sanitiser at the entrance when we arrived. The tables were not too close together. There were a lot of families there and they all appeared to have enjoyed their food. I would go back again

I popped into Leo's Kitchen with my mum. We've been there happily many times before. This time the food was mediocre and the service not good. There were only ever 4 tables occupied but they were doing a roaring trade in takeaways which seemed to take priority. We waited an eternity for everything and they forgot our water and cutlery. The water jug was not very clean which I mentioned as we were paying (though not all the other gripes). The waitress told us if it was that bad then don't come back again! I can't tell you how fast our cash tip went from the table into my handbag. I am more than happy never to darken their unwelcoming door again and to positively not recommend them going forwa...
