Great lunch time spot, serving organic foods and drinks in a beautiful location in the centre of town. I tried the vegan/ gluten free option (Assiette végétalien), it was a big salad, hummus, rice cakes, spicy vegetable balls, and the soup of the day. It was very filling and fresh and I will be taking other friends there soon.

Other than the cafe being tricky to find, the service and coffee were great. The servers where very nice and answered all questions. The vibe inside the cafe is nice and they have outside seating for when the weather is warm and sunny. Prices are similar to most cafes and very reasonable especially since it is Organic. We plan to visit again.

I had seen reviews of this cafe on tripadvisor and was hoping to find it. Imagine my surprise when we stumbled upon it right behind our hotel! My French is very limited and the person who took my order had limited English, but I managed to order delicious vegetarian food which doesn't seem too easy to do in France. When I asked about one of the items on the menu, they even gave me a sample! The food was fantastic and the staff was very nice and accommodating. If we are ever in Annecy again, we will go back!

Ma femme et moi avons découvert ce lieu en nous promenant à Annecy en juin. Ils allaient fermer dans une demi-heure, donc nous avons pris rapidement un verre et un morceau de gâteau. C'était délicieux - nous leur avons dit que nous reviendrions pour un repas. La veille de la fin des vacances, nous avons fait un détour spécial à Annecy pour manger ici et ça en valait la peine. Un environnement vraiment relaxant, un personnel enthousiaste et amusant, et une excellente cuisine. Être près du canal en a fait un environnement vraiment relaxant pour profiter de la délicieuse nourriture. La prochaine fois que nous serons à Annecy, je suis sûr que nous reviendrons ici.

Je cherchais un endroit pour dîner tôt à 17h, quelque chose de léger et savoureux car il faisait très chaud ici. C'était parfait. La salade de chèvre chaud était pleine de délicieux légumes frais comme des poivrons, des carottes, de la salade, des tomates, du fromage de chèvre sur du pain grillé, avec une vinaigrette savoureuse. J'ai fini tout l'assiette généreuse tellement c'était bon! Agréable de voir un endroit qui reste ouvert toute la journée. Ils sont là depuis 5 ans et cela montre qu'ils savent ce qu'ils font. Difficile à trouver car c'est entre les rues dans un passage, mais cela vaut vraiment l'effort! Je vais probablement y retourner pendant mon séjour de 3 jours. Fermé le dimanche...

For a vegetarian traveller, this cafe was like a safe haven for my fiancé and I. The cafe is warm and inviting and the staff very accommodating despite our very limited and (I imagine) frustratingly bad french. The vegetarian options are not plentiful but are definitely adequate! Choose the 'Assiette Vegetarienne' where you will receive their plate-of-the-day. They also have soy milk! (Ask for 'lait de soja' in whatever milk-based drink you choose) they're open from 8.30am til 6pm and serve meals more or less the whole way through. My only complaint would be that the coffee wasn't brilliant but then again, western-style coffees generally never are in France so I should just be grateful that...

L’en-Cas Bio is a casual place where you grab cold beverages from a case, put them on a tray, order food at counter and pay, sit down, and they bring you your food. A restaurant with organic vegetarian and gluten-free options sounded great in theory, but my actual experience disappointed. The food tasted good, but poorly trained staff made me worry that my food would not be truly gluten-free. Cashier wasn’t sure what was gluten-free and what wasn’t, even though there were signs differentiating right behind her head. When my food came, salmon and leek cake looked like slices of a mini-loaf. Salad, which I had not ordered, had half a slice of bread on it. So I inquired and the cook told me not...
