"German cuisine in a small but cosy place. Works a little dark but with candles. Children's chairs are available. Eating was fine, good-bourgeois, German cuisine. On Sundays there is a selected carving card, a soup and an ice cream at the end. Child portions are available. I think prices are high. A vegetarian carving, consisting of 4 slices of cabbage rabi, a couple of pommes and a small rib Tzaiziki (here sour cream with chives) and a small side salad for 15 eur, without ice and soup, as not desired. 4 stars where I tend to a 3 because the older lady who served us was quite unfriendly and annoyed. Our 1 year old sat in the corridor near the terrace door, which was opened and left open again, so directly on the train. When the door was open for longer and I closed it, this lady came and told me very unfriendly, she had her extra open. I pointed it out to our little one, and it came to a pity that the law of the air was. The place was filled before and was never ventilated, only briefly opened to go out and when only 2 tables were occupied, had to be ventilated. Of course! The owner himself, however, was super friendly to our two, so it is also friendly and the two young operators also seemed nice. Whether we come again, questionable. On the recommendation of an acquaintance from MZ."

Mayence, une ville historique sur le Rhin, est connue pour sa culture du vin et son Spundekäs, une trempette fromagère crémeuse souvent accompagnée de bretzels ; c'est un délice culinaire central.
