Everything was perfect, warm decor, friendly service and tasty cuisine. A beautiful evening !

Not enough bread to finish the fondue....usually, it's the cheese that's missing.....very expensive. Opt for “42”

Fantastic food, fantastic view and fantastic service. One of the best boeuf and entrecote we have had. And good local Valais vin !

My teenage son and I dined here a couple of nights ago and had a lovely evening. The staff were attentive and helpful, just the right balance, the atmosphere was great and the food just beautiful. A gorgeous menu.. I had the pave de boeuf and my son the duck with poached pair…will definitely be back again.

Last year we weren’t really impressed, but we spend 4 evenings in this restaurant and were seriously impressed: friendly service and excellent quality food. The menus are good value for money, wine, unfortunately, is expensive. Since this restaurant has a new management, it is a very solid choice for classic gastronomy.

Mixed opinion, the setting is very pretty, the warm mountain atmosphere, but the service is not up to par, more than 25 minutes of waiting for someone to come and offer us drinks... the imposed menu leaves only little choice, and the beef cheek was not up to the price displayed on the menu, bland and uninteresting. Damage….

Food and service was excellent but it was let down by the fact that we were put in the bar area of the restaurant on a table by ourselves, rather than in the main restaurant. This meant there was zero atmosphere. Disappointing given there was clearly space in the main room. Also we booked using “the fork” and there seemed to be an issue with the this making it’s way to the restaurant

We spent a disappointing evening here. The waiter greeted us as if we were not really welcome, and during our meal we could not manage to get his attention to inform him that the steak we had ordered was overcooked, not what we ordered. We were also disappointed by the overall quality of the food. Last, the side-orders of French-fries was so small, we wondered if they had run out of supplies.

Im Rahmen des Hotelaufenthaltes im dazugehörigen Beau Séjour haben wir 4 Abende lang Halbpension genossen. Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich, mit viel Holz eingerichet. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit und verliert auch bei grossem Ansturm die Übersicht nicht. Sehr empfehlenswert sind die verschiedenen Fleischgerichte, die am Grill frisch zubereitet werden. Die Weinkarte besticht durch eine gute Auswahl an bezahlbaren Walliser Weinen.
