"The restaurant is one of the last surviving Dinosaurs of upscale gastonomy leftover from the glory days when Bonn had a decent landscape funded by diplomats and up level public servants - now as they are all in Berlin everything upscale in this nice city is challenged. I knew the place from walking around more than 30 years ago, looking with wide opended eyes on the menu at the window - but I could not enter as I could not afford the prices in those days.. Yesterday I went there for the first time and I was a little concerned as such places with such a background are more often the source of frustration than great evenings. But the evening was remarkably good despite the fact that regarding Service and Food you can guess the details that one can inflate to issues that can justify a "average" rating or maybe even less . But overall because of the delicious food and also overall nice service enjoyed the evening as everyone of our party of four. The restaurant is located in the northern part of the city center of Bonn and is close to the large parking lane under the Friedensplatz. The interior radiates a personal style mix - which is on one hand a little dated and ecclectic with a pinch of crowded naivity so that nobody feels intimidated and rather warmed. On the other hand it radiates enough gastronomic fine dining ambition so that you still feel great if your are on a romantic or a mid-level business meeting. For a real show-off meeting you may want to go in another place. But gastronomic interested couples whose childfinder defaults on their weekly "couple date" may find it more pleasant to enjoy an evening with kids here than in a lot of other places with ambition.Menu offers some set menu and a reasonable number of a la carte dishes. Most reflect the French inspired upscale German gastronomy of the 80s and 90s were modernization had already its impact but you could still recognize the clasical skeleton of the dishes from the times of Escoffier. We had as starters diced raw "salmon"- trout with its trimmings and mildly smoked scallops on mashed pumpkin,. As mains we had Lobster Thermidor, Sole Walewska, Veal in creamy mushroom sauce. What were the highlights:- Great to get some classics with a lighter modernized touch but keeping the soul of the concept- Generous sizings and presentations - Quality of fish and meat was really very good- Perfect cooking of all fishes, great well balanced proportion of the various components- Hearty , talented seasoning and good sense for roasting - Great sense of the chef to create lighter versions of classical sauces and reductions- Served on warm plates at perfect temperature- Caring , very polite service- Reasonable prices- Very generous goodies (large very good wild garlic amuse bouche, large service of petits fours, large serving of ordered digestif ) If I would live Bonn I would be a regular patron - and while most places under those conditions get into the trap of a high share of convenience products you sense here the quality of the fresh ingredients and the experience and craftmanship of the chef. If you benchmark such a restaurant with the most updated standards in large urban gastro-scences of this world you may maybe find more to criticize than me - but this would be the wrong bechmark.Though some challenges cannot be denied- Moderatly dense seating (but in most Paris and New York places you are more close to your neighbours - did not disturb us - but could be an issue for some patrons - Peak load (Saturday at 19:30 -. Restaurant was full ) creates some waiting time - but we knew how to entertain ourselves while waiting- Some feeling of tension in the service - either collaboration issues or personal issues- did not corrupt our experience . but the facial expression of one our two service staff was not as relaxed as you may expect - but this happens to all of us . Others were still a little shy - but very polite and effective .Wine list is eclectic, personal and interesting to read - I picked the wrong wine for the food, my fault. But there were a lot of good options specially from Austria and France-So overall you could focus on some selected points of unskillfullness in service and argue for a lower rating , but if you take into account what it takes to bring great food on a regular daily base in such a challenging environment -this was great. We had an excellent evening , enjoyed each of the plates and had smiles of satisfaction on our faces when leaving."

Fantastic food and service. Scallops are superb. I will definitely go back. It is not a cheap restaurant but it is well worth every penny.

I used to live in Bonn for seven years. I ate at the restaurant on multiple occasions. Firstly I love the interior it is truly pretty. The service is always perfect and the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend it!

Food really was quite average at not average prices. The fish soup was mundane, the beef fillet was over salted and the brûlée was the best of the evening. Service is attentive and friendly and the decor is tongue in the mouth kitsch - I think.

This is an upscale restaurant specialising in fish. The cuisine is classic french and very well done. Fish is always of top qualityand perfectly prepared. The wine selection is missing out, surprisingly, on the more local wines, but otherwise good, though somewhat pricey. The setting is very elegant, service impeccable. Overall a good place for a special occasion.

Quite twee in its decoration but the service was attentive, the food good and occasionally inventive. The wine list is truly something so all in all a very pleasant experience. With the chef's menu at only 70 Euros per person, well worth the visit. Was completely full. Amuse bouche, perfectly seared tuna with sesame, Steak tartare, seared scallops, then fillet with foie gras followed by dessert, it was really nice.

Have been here numerous times and I have to say I have never been disappointed. Food is amazing, service is outstanding, and I like the interior as well as the decoration of the restaurant. I would rate every meal 10 out of 10 and it is definitely a must visit. Prices are a little bit high but it is worth it if you want to have a special dinner or entertain someone in a little group. The restaurant is really intimate so I would not bring a large group of people.

on 23rd March I was invited with my father for a dinner in Le Petit Poisson.from the beginning, as we entered the restaurant, we felt something special.I have to say that it was impossible to read the English menu (and this is the only thing that they need to improve) but the food was all amazing, tasty, served so nicely.I honestly do not remember the name of what I ate but from the picture, you might understand.the menu has big selection so there is no way you will not find something to eat there.a true amazing experience- from the starter till the desert.and the wine and alcohol selection- superb ! if you are n Koln or Bonn and you look for something special - this is the place.

Our hotel (Deutscheshaus) recommended this French-inspired restaurant which was only a short walk away. It was a Wednesday night and there were only two other diners – somewhat unconvincingly we were told that the lack of customers was because Bayern Munich FC were playing that night. Bayern fans must have deep pockets because Le Petit Poisson (little fish) is really rather expensive. But do you get good value? Yes, indeed. We chose the Menu du Jour, three courses at €55 each, which looked to be the best value. The recommended wine was €39 a bottle, but honestly it was superb. Our three courses were all Michelin-star standard. For starters we had sea bass with lots of little tasty sauces, ca...

"It's Monday, and my wife and I have a reason to celebrate. But where on Monday night? „Monday Ruhetag“ we read on numerous restaurant pages on the Internet – also in the further Hennefer district. But who seeks to find – and indeed the Bonneria, a Spanish restaurant in Bonn-Beuel, within a range of just 20 kilometres. Vamos! The Bonneria is located in a residential and business district in the heart of Bonn-Beuel. Parking search can be problematic here, the parking spaces in the surrounding streets are usually occupied. A parking space which can be used from 18.00 h in the courtyard of the residential and commercial building, on the ground floor of which the restaurant is located, is small and also quickly occupied. We're lucky and find a narrow car park for our companion. It is warm on this 6th of September, and we have already telephonicly explored whether we have a chance at the 18.00 h on a table on the restaurant's garden terrace, which is next to the parking lot in the yard. The Bonneria does not accept a reservation for the terrace. Our chance of a table at this time is taxed by a service employee to 95 percent on the phone. We can choose a table on the spacious terrace, a handful of tables is occupied. We choose a two table on the back glass front of the guest room, have free views into the restaurant interior: lots of wood, partly leather-related armchair, tapas bar-flair. Guest room, photographed by the window front On the terrace there are predominantly two tables with bare wood plate on metal frame at small and larger distances, so that a larger group of persons can find space on two-sided tables. The surrounding garden chairs have braided seating and back surfaces, seat cushions are also available. But also Grandma's table is used on the terrace, as the following image is suspected. Table on the terrace Chapel four stars for the ambience, so the evening, almost cheesy flowerpot lighting does not change anything. The service team, two young men and a young lady, is on Zack. We are served by the two gentlemen, both are friendly and hospitable, and they have an idea of what they serve and how it runs in the kitchen. Although the terrace fills more and more during the evening, we wait for an exception no much longer than the preparation requires for our dishes and drinks. Only the dessert for my lover can wait longer. But at this time, almost all the tables are occupied, and the service dominations are primarily dragging main meals to the tables, which seems somehow understandable. We're worried, asking if everything's right, if we've tasted it. The service did his job well, four stars. Food and Beverage One of the two busy service owners, a jovial-fidel type, which is not meant to be devalued, hands out the menus and asks for drinks. My wife chooses a • bottle of mineral water Classic (0.75 l to 5,90 €, and since my wife wants to go home, I can afford a • Grauburgunder (0.2 l to 5,50 €, which will still meet in the evening. The drinks will bring us the Joviale a little later well cooled to the table. Mineral Water Classic He lets us further time to choose from the rich, spanish map. My Angetraute decides at the appetizers for a • Pan con tomate (roasted bread slices with tomatoes, onions and garlic, 4.10 €. I choose my beloved • Boquerones fritos (panierte und frittierte Sardellen, 4.70 €. The young man comes with a bread basket and a bowl. It serves us a greeting from the kitchen, fresh, warm baguette and rúcula aliolioli, a Rukola-Aioli cream. Greeting from the kitchen As simple as the greeting is from the kitchen, it tastes as well. The bread is warm and crispy, the Rukola-Aioli cream perfectly prepared, full of taste. A tasty start. After a short waiting period, the appetizers follow. Pan con tomate My wife gets two “Spanish Bruchettas”, one she already “in work” when I take the photo. The bread slices are roasted and still warm. They are coated with a mix of tomatoes, onions and garlic. With some pepper, salt and the rest of Rukola-Aioli, they sound good to my wife. Even with my Boquerones, I'm late, but not too late. Boquerones A few anchovies are already missing in the peel and the lemon is already squeezed. So it's when a food of my personal hit parade lures me. The Boquerones are thinly grounded and crispy. A little spice from salt and pepper and the ornamental juice underline the pleasing basic taste. I like it. As we have wished, the main foods come in a little time distance. A salad is served on both of our main dishes. The supplemental salad consists of various leaf salads, a few paprika strips, a cucumber disc, a minitomate and carrot shells, a plentiful portion – so plentiful that we cannot accommodate the small amount of well-tasting dressing due to the small bowl. Filete Loup de Mer con espinacas y patatas a la parilla The only optically appealing Wolfsbarschfilets convince my loved ones also tastefully. The fillets are fried crispy on the skin and although the insides are also slightly fried crispy, the fillets are not dry, but juicy and delicate. A slightly piquant reddish (Paprika-? Season perfects the taste. Since my wife does not tease the skin anyway, it is no lack for her that the fillets are served with the skin down, which is usually not the case to get the skin crispy. The patatas a la parilla, the so-called grilled potatoes, are not so appealing. Thus, it is almost only heated, thick slices of cooked potatoes with peel and much resistant starch. Spinach insert The spinach insert is a la española enriched with sweetened tomato pieces that make everything very “supply”. Fresh baby spinat and tomatoes are only briefly gedified and slightly tasted with garlic. Here too, my wife spices with salt and pepper to meet her taste. Dorada a la plancha con patatas romero y ensalada The Dorade is perfectly grilled and tastes very good. The skin is crispy grilled, the top two folded halves are slightly spicy. It's a light thing to release the strong middle bones. The rosemary potatoes, besides rosemary, also with parsley, are swung with the shell in olive oil and slightly browned. A matching and tasty supplement to the Dorade. The servicemen ask for our satisfaction, and we let them know that it has tasted us well. When asking for a post, my love cannot resist, although we both have a “plenus venter”. But such a chocolate with liquid core... so the order for a • Pastel de chocolate (hot chocolate cake with walnut and cream cap, €5.90 goes out. My Dorade wants to swim, so I order a • line Aquavit (2,90 € . Esperando el pastel, and the time passes, the service forces drag court around court from the kitchen, the terrace is now well occupied. It takes a whole while not adapted for cakes and digestif until the sweet temptation and the perseverance are on our table. Pastel de chocolate But waiting was worth it. The chocolate cake tops the expectations of my loved ones: warm, fluffy, with delicate melted core, complemented by the ice cream with thick walnut pieces and the not so sweet cream. Perfecto! Aquavit Contrary to the often usual type of serving in the iced glass, the Aquavit is cooled under room temperature, but not served in the deeply tempered Aquavit glass. So my Dorade gets more of the aroma. We let our young jovial man know that dessert was very, yes very tasty. In general: With the performance of the kitchen we are more than satisfied, four stars. The cleanliness tables, cutlery and dishes are clean and the terrace is well maintained. We weren't in the guest room and not in the toilets. We also do not know whether the menage – wooden pepper and salt mill – which we have requested in retrospect, has been treated according to the current hygiene rules. Therefore, the assessment of cleanliness remains open. The price-performance ratio service and kitchen performance are quite okay except for small items. There is nothing to complain about at the prices. They are partly below local level. On the one hand, it is surprising to read gastronomics, which reach a great deal after the third Corona wave. The short full score therefore seems appropriate to us in terms of price-performance ratio, four and a half stars. We liked the evening in Bonneria. The restaurant is worth a visit, and we also recommend it. Complete note good, and nos vemos de nuevo!"
