"My friend and I made a reservation here for our Christmas Dinner, and the 3-minute walk to the venue was perfect. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and cozy, with lovely little Christmas decorations on our table as a nice touch. The meal was delicious and everything was executed with precision, thanks to a great team. We had a wonderful Christmas day thanks to the entire staff. We look forward to returning in the summer for live music nights, as the venue looks fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved!"

"What a lovely pub-very pleasant staff and a very good chef. We visited with friends and enjoyed our fish and chips, steak and sandwich. Beer is great- Pedigree or Wainwrights. We are considering coming back for our Christmas festive meal with our other friends. The lady who served us was most pleasant- presume she was the landlady. Hopefully we will be back soon."

"that was a good pub restaurant before. there seems to be a bad retention and a high turnover of employees who think about management. the steak I ordered was chewing and full gristle. I said the waitress politely that she would get the manager/Koch/Barman out of the kitchen. gary, the above mentioned helicopter of all trades, seems to do the work of all, instead of managing that he has not arrived. a few minutes later the waitress asked if we would like more drinks. I explained that I wanted to solve the problem first with my meal and she went back to the kitchen. finally gary arrived and in a very condesctive way explained that rib auge steak has some fat in it. I am aware of the sibling that gives taste, but not gristle and steak as hard as it is like chewing leather. in no phase I offered a replacement or another option, but after a waiting period of minutes since my complaining and the sight of cold gristle before me I was no longer hungry anyway. gary's attitude was risible. he has no customer service skills and did not make any excuse or offer of any kind to put it right. he simply produced a bill for the whole meal (minus the steak), which was wrong anyway, as there was an additional glass wee on it. he changed this with a pencil entry and stood above the table while we paid. we took family members to this pub and its attitude, lack of civil society and general ignorance made this a very unpleasant experience. we will never visit the dog again, a once excellent pub restaurant ruined by its bad administration and high turnover of unfortunate and overworked employees."

"I visited the Bay Horse on a Thursday for steak night and had a great experience. The food was cooked perfectly and offered great value for money. My partner and I both ordered medium rare mixed grills and they were fantastic. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to assist us, even helping my partner choose her drink. I opted for a pint of Birra Moretti, which was refreshing and cold, while my partner enjoyed her gin and tonic. We have now become regulars at the Bay Horse."

"We had a wonderful champagne breakfast celebration!!!! It was possibly a tad early to down a bottle of champers, but hey ho when needs must!! The breakfast was excellent, cooked served to perfection. It was the start of our Pearl wedding anniversary celebrations, so we started as we meant to carry on!!! Lovely atmosphere, real Mediterranean feel, great chilled music, great service from 'happy ' staff!! We 'll definitely be popping in again soon, thanks Maria Millie XX Oh thank you for the flowers too, beautiful!!!"
