"Based on my hotel’s recommendation they booked a table here. Was quite busy with 2 couples in front of me being turned away for not having a reservation. Was good to see some young local families with kids enjoying the restaurant, gives you a bit of certainty that the restaurant isn’t just a tourist styled one. Like it has embroidered cloth napkins but is very laid back with paper sheets on tables although it has an old school gentlemans club vibe to it. Service was a bit hit and miss to be honest, a lot of younger staff who are still finding their feet. Friendly, but missing the finer points of when to do stuff and when not. Trying to take my plate away as I had a piece of bread in my hand, mopping up the tasty gravy not good. Strange first dish (a Saucisson Chaud Pistache en Brioche), sort of a sausage in a brioche bun which is a Lyonais specialty. It looks salami like but is like a normal sausage in flavour, enjoyed this. Followed by a Bresse chicken with vinegar and tarragon, which was nicely done. I enjoyed the five flavours of sorbet although I started to struggle as portion sizes were quite generous. Had some nice wines by the glass which is good to see, had a random Condrieu, a Thalabert (Jaboulet) and a Trimbach VT 2011 to finish off proceedings."

Amazing place! You can call for reservations in advance although it is a very big restaurant that can hold a lot of people.

Nice brasserie in the center of Lyon. Typical cuisine lyonnese: the troat filet with almonds and spinats is the corse I enjoyed more. The veranda was a little bit unconfortable for the too cold air conditioned

We showed up at Le Nord without a reservation, but they were able to seat us. Food was good, service was not bad. The staff was very friendly and able to speak English (which is a plus for me). All in all, I'd go back. Voir le carte

Réas dans l'amour réservé à l'avance. Pour les amoureux du gin, beaucoup de propositions très intéressantes. Repas aromatisés, champignons velours et leurs gaufres... avec leur caramel et leur fouet... Très bon repas, avec toujours ce pain de brioche à tomber.

Maisons Bocuse, une référence à Lyon. Cependant, j'avais demandé 2 tasses de champagne quand j'étais réservé par Internet, nous ne les avions jamais, et la table trop bancale, c'était le menu de fête qui servait de pied de table. Pour le reste, il est parfait, très bon produits, très bien cuit, service professionnel et impeccable. Le menu de 4 cours est de qualité imbattable. Je recommande fortement.
