Le Melchior - Menu

Very good, friendly service and lovely setting in beautiful gardens and terrace. The food was very good. The steak, salmon and eels were all excellent.

I had the duck in Le Melchior and I was surprised by the crowd. It was cooked as I asked and was of a good quality. Service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.

We had been recommended Le Melchior and it did not disappoint. We sat on the delightful terrace and enjoyed a 3 course set lunch. The service was friendly and the food very well presented and delicious. Good wine too!

After a few years of vacation in the area, we recently discovered Le Melchior. It's a bit off the beaten track, but worth a visit! Beautiful location in rural surroundings. Menu series at different prices, but our party went for a...a la carte salad and the E14 set menu. All delicious and all really good value. Seems like a great place to dinner, and we will certainly return.

Un joli petit restaurant avec de la bonne cuisine française. Ne vous attendez pas à quelque chose de raffiné en termes de nourriture. C'est un bon rapport qualité/prix et le service est sympathique et agréable. Une terrasse extérieure très cosy. Bonne option de stationnement à côté du restaurant. Ce restaurant a probablement adopté ses menus...etc dans la maison de retraite voisine.

Visité ici sur recommandation d'amis, j'ai passé un samedi midi très agréable. L'hôtel et le restaurant sont un peu à l'écart de la rue principale, mais dans un bel environnement. Nous avons pris le repas du jour et à 25€ c'était très bon... Les entrées et les algues étaient superbes et la Zitronetarte était un paradis de desserts et de plats. Accompagné d'une carafe de vin rosé local, c'était un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

The setting is attractive and the service is friendly and helpful. We had the 35 euro menu which was unusual in that it had limited mains for selection. We had the lambs-fry dish and the lamprey for entrée. For mains we had a beef dish...and an eel dish. The desserts were a macaroon and the other the profiteroles. The profiteroles were a standout. The food was well presented and interesting. However we thought the 19.90 euro menu or the a la cart the better options. It would be a lovely venue for lunch.

We visited Le Melchior as a couple for dinner one evening. The setting in the grounds of the Hotel was very pleasant and the staff were attentive and cheerful. There was a good choice of food and wine which, in the main, was excellent (particularly...the sweetbreads) and desert The only downside was the steak which was one of the most sinewy pieces of meat I have ever been presented with notwithstanding the steak knife it was still difficult to dissect The cost of the meal was moderate given the quality of the surroundings and if you avoid the steak you will have an enjoyable experience

We arrived at 8.45 a.m. after a long, hot and tiresome trip from Paris. We were recommended to come from the owner of our BnB, which is usually praise enough. We sat on the terrace, social distance and hygiene properly maintained and very well managed. The staff was so beautiful, friendly, friendly, friendly and very attentive. They spoke both English and French with us, which was soothing for my children, and they were extremely polite and patient with my rustic French!
