Le Gourmet im Hotel Die Hirschgasse

the menu with eight refined walks already enthralls at the beginning with an amuse bouche that simply starts from a great brot with butter.

it starts with the greeting - you feel at home and well received immediately. the service was as always very attentive and inconspicuous,the weinberatung top and the menue simply ingenious.

we had a very good meal in this restaurant during our stay in the hotel, the only disappointment was that we were the only people in the dining room, while the other dining room of the hotel was full or people and more fun. but that was a mistake of the season. there was a well-selected selection of weeping and eating was well prepared and presented.

we had the four-course menu with whisper. as promised, there were many surprises, so it looked more like 7 passages. the food was excellent and the service of the junior staff was quite good. the oberkellner seemed a little distracted and concentrated on a table to exclude all others. maybe they were a kind of judge, but that distracted from our joy at the restaurant.

excellent, demanding eating and wine as well as excellent service in a 500 year old building. we were about 25 people participating in a conference. the team was excellently organized. we got champagne on the terrace with 3 different amuse guides, just fantastic! afterwards followed the dinner with a short and nice explanation of the history of the building. the weeping and eating were incredibly good.

so far my most beautiful and culinary experience in a star restaurant. everything was perfect, starting from the table, which had enough distance to the other tables, so that you could still entertain yourself (which I have experienced differently), about the really very friendly waiter team (which also had a great humor), to the really excellent eating. every gang was a pleasure. especially great I found the presentation of the petit four, which were placed in a jewellery wooden box. we will be happy to come back when we are back in heidelberg.

in the hotel hirschgasse and the "le gourmet" there are still the "small sister mensurstube" in which we were to eat four well.The service was really very friendly and accommodating, eating extremely tasty (seeding and snailing to the appetizer and fish to the main course) and the evening was long. However, the service became somewhat more inattentive than more to do. the price for the cheese to the conclusion - which was more than paved (for 5 small pieces €47.50 were too much for quality); otherwise the prices were reasonable and the evening was a pleasure!
