Third time at the restaurant. Chicken was as crispy, moist and deep in flavor as ever. Unfussy, but elegant vibe making it a perfect place to relax after an exhilarating day exploring Paris.

eating in le coq fils is always great. fresh ingredients prepared with care, love and thought. also the service is attentive, with a smile and always generous. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who has eaten roast chicken or otherwise in montmartre.

La nourriture est excellente. La cuisine est simple et très bonne. Si vous venez ici, cherchez de la volaille incroyable. Si vous ne voulez pas de volaille, ne venez pas ici. J'ai pris la caille qui était l'une des meilleures que j'ai jamais eues. Ils servent même leur bouillon comme des protecteurs de soupe que je recommanderais. Le restaurant lui-même est situé dans une rue pittoresque. L'intérieur dégage une ambiance "paysage français en ville". Le service était excellent, le personnel de service était très sympathique et informatif.

Perhaps, most important is polite participation in our service. Arriving when the restaurant opened to avoid the rush. We reserved to seat at the bar in front of the open kitchen. The small staff is split between the dining room and the bar. The wines by the glass were not updated and forgotten (ordered at the time of menu). Sancerre rouge was warm and lacked precision made good with a briillant 2017 Nicolas Rossignol Bourgogne rouge fitting the taste profile I described. Very good and creative food. Highly recommended and would return in a heartbeat!

it began with the restaurant not in the position to find the reservation that I made on the fork, although I had called and confirmed it on the same day. the restaurant was obviously over capacity and the service showed. there was a single person who tried to serve about 8 tables, and although he was beautiful, we waited for very long periods (like 20 minutes) with our boards just stacked before us. eating was okay, I was at the NYC site and remember that this is the best of my life. now it tasted over boiled and a bit dried out (except the skin that wasn't even crispy.) we also ordered a few different chicken types so we could really understand the different taste profiles, but they were al...
