Second time around was better! Pancakes were looking good and tasty! Chai latte is a no-go though unless you like sugary drinks

Petite restauration de qualité avec produits du terroir. En hiver, d'excellents chocolats chauds maison. Un coin est prévu pour les enfants (jeux). Lectures diverses (journaux, livres) à disposition. Programme littéraire pendant l'année avec des invités/écrivains. Au bord du lac, avec terrasse. Serveurs et serveuses très sympas. Pas de musique forte. Que demander mieux?

Excellent walk in meal with my adult family. A superb welcome from owner and a young English speaking guy from behind the bar. Fresh innovative food superbly presented in a great atmosphere. Couldn’t believe we were so lucky. Really reasonably priced unlike our hotel which charge what they fancy as they think they are better than they are. A real gem on the lakeside in Vevey. This is a very pleasant eatery placed facing the lake with the Vevey community library as its neighbor. There is a good choice of vegetarian dishes and a rich brunch menu. The wine and drinks list is extensive and well chosen offering many local products. They feature several evening cultural events per month. The decoration is simple, catering to a young clientele and staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for the not so formal client. Voir le carte

I went here to take coffee and read, cause the view is spectacular! The location is probably one of the best in vevey. The coffee is good, but not the best. But it's a very pleasant place and because of the very good service and super polite ways of the attendant with mustache, I'll come back to eat and bring friends. The decoration is really impressive and the whole combo makes it worth paying a visit and coming again. So, the whole combo of apparently happy and polite staff, the decoration and location makes it a great place!

The food is great and the place is cosy and is very inviting. The major downside are the waitresses that seem to loath every minute of their time spent in the establishment. Not a single Hello, Goodbye, thanks or whatnot. Took the brunch combos and they were pretty good (they say it comes with spinnache in cream sauce but it's in salad not cooked form) but was missing a little salt. When we asked for the bill we had to wait 20min for the waitress to bring it to us then leave straight away without letting us pay for another 15min (I just left the cash on the table as I was fed up waiting longer to pay than to eat).

Food, service and atmosphere were good, close to perfect. I give 3 stars only because, given the quantity and size of pancakes I got, I didn't feel that was reflected in the cost, but then again... If I'm paying 16 CHF for 3 (7 cm diameter) pancakes, I rather have a 3 nice big pancakes (preferably not burned, like the one hidden in the bottom). I mean, praise to the local ingredients consideration, but I was expecting (maybe wrongly) bigger sized, or at least 6 (of the similar size) pancakes to find it a fair deal for the price.
