Le Boeuf Qui Rit - Carte

After several weeks of Creps and Seafood it was a real pleasure to find a proper Meat Lovers restaurant. Great food / Wine and atmosphere. Will be back..Beef-burger and Beef Kebab - excellent!

One rainy day we sought shelter and lunch in this restaurant in the middle of Audierne. It proved to be an excellent choice, and we had a very good lunch there. As it is chiefly a bistro, we chose grilled steaks, which were excellent, done to perfection and served with delicious vegetables.

Returning from a visit to the Pointe du Raz, we stopped in this restaurant.The exterior of the restaurant seemed interesting, an old house, the old stones ...The worst was waiting for us after a banal food, we went out completely smoky!Back at our hotel in Quimper, we had to wash all our clothes and even our hair!Address not to be recommended! C'était le seul restaurant que nous avons trouvé ouvert un lundi de mai. Seulement du boeuf au menu. Nous avons pris un joli plateau de légumes en entrée, suivi de steaks. Délicieux mais pas exceptionnels. Le restaurant est très agréable à l'étage et le service était excellent. Une jeune dame était seule pour servir sur deux étages, toujours souriante et très attentive.

Nous sommes venus avec notre tout-petit. Le menu est simple mais offre suffisamment de choix si vous aimez le bœuf. J'ai pris un cheeseburger, mon mari a pris une entrecôte. Les ingrédients de qualité étaient agréables, tous semblaient faits maison. Ils étaient détendus avec notre fille et notre chien (nous étions assis dehors). Nous y retournerions certainement pour y manger à nouveau.

Whilst staying in Audierne we had three meals at this restaurant which was open even though we went in the off season. It was open in the day and at night when many others weren't.The hospitality was excellent and very prompt. The food was delicious and hearty, just what was needed for a cold day.Prices were good and the food arrived as requested and was delicious.When we go back to Audierne we will be frequenting this restaurant again and again! For our second night in Audierne we had decided on a local fish restaurant but came across Le Boeuf qui Rit instead. I had La Salade du Moment which was warm camenbert on toasts with honey, apple, beetroot, walnuts and salad with a serving of peppery cress. Delicious. It is nice to have a main course salad with lots of flavours and less lettuce. My husband had entrecote, well cooked and good quality, with a small salade and sauce and a broccoli and tomato gratin. And with the best chips in the WORLD - skin on chips cooked in beef dripping, they were clean tasting, flavoursome, non greasy and crispy, even when cold.
