I had a great experience at this charming pub with friendly staff who provided quick service with a smile. The atmosphere was lovely and clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I will definitely be returning.

My family of four visited this restaurant and all the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, and I especially enjoyed my dessert. I would definitely come back here again if I am visiting family in the area. Voir le carte

Recently visited with my son for food after the covid restrictions, the staff were very welcoming and efficient. The new menu is great ! Offering a wider range of vegan options . The food I had was lovely , cooked and presented very well : ill definitely be visiting again for a bite to eat :

Very poor the food wasn't very good the sausage on my meal was hard it had obviously been reheated. We had a lasagne this hadn't got much taste. We had a child seat for my grandaughter there were three available and all had not been cleaned properly.the overall cleanliness of the pub was poor.we shall not be visiting again. Voir le carte

My previous experiences at this restaurant have always been enjoyable, with delicious meals and friendly staff. However, our most recent visit was a disappointment. When we arrived, there was no one at the bar to take our order. After finally getting some drinks, we waited over an hour for our food. When we asked the only staff member serving why others who ordered after us were being served first, we were told that our order was in the system and we would get it when it was ready. Absolutely terrible experience, arrived at 17.30 after confirming with head office that we wanted a dog friendly area 3 times, we were told on arrival that it's a head office problem and were left while they served other people until they told us a table we could sit at, although there were no other people in that area so we could have been seated immediately. We ordered food and after an hour I went to the bar to ask how long it would be, there was no one at the bar but I saw someone in the kitchen so indicated that I wanted to talk to someone. What has gone wrong with the Lawnswood? 6 of us visited and pretty much all the food was absolutely awful. We have been regular visitors for many years so we know what to expect. We had family visiting and thought this to be a good venue as it usually offered tasty food at a good price. I ordered a burger meal deal (which I had experienced before and it was good) expecting succulent burgers with a generous topping and well cooked, seasoned fries. What I got was something clearly shoved in a microwave far beyond its time and a topping of Korean sauce and fried onions that you would need an optical device to see!! 2 of our guests asked for soda with a cordial (on a meal deal with a drink) and...
