"We came to this restaurant with a group of twelve friends and fellow travelers. We were told the food was delicious and we were not disappointed! In fact, the food was better than we could have imagined. I ordered artichokes which were out of this world perfectly roasted and seasoned topped with just right cooked eggs. The entree was pasta with prawns; I couldn't discern all the ingredients in the sauce, but the combination was absolutely delicious. And the fig ice cream for dessert was unlike anything I had tasted and left me wanting more. My husband, who is a vegetarian, ordered the special leeks dish and proclaimed it was the best food he had during our three week trip in Spain. The service was warm and attentive and appropriately suggested entrees to try. Our only disappointment? The restaurant wasn't open on the Monday we returned to Madrid, so we could only eat at LaVeronica one time! I heartily recommend this restaurant to everyone!"

Six of us had lunch and our experiences were mixed. Some dishes were very good and some a bit disappointing. The space is funky and fun and the staff nice.
